The rental house was dirty and still had homeowner's belongings in it when the property manager had us sign the lease and take possession of the property.  The house had no cooler/air conditioner and the water was discolored and malodorous.  The property manager kept telling us the homeowner wouldn't fix anything.  We ended up moving out and still haven't received our security deposit.  We took the homeowner to small claims court and got a judgement against her, but the property manager couldn't be bothered to appear.  Sheridan Givens didn't usually return phone calls.  We had to call her repeatedly, and when she answered she said she was busy with clients.  She also does hair part-time and made us feel like that was more important.
