Service completed as promised. Car delivered to home after service completed.

Later, I discovered that they had not checked the water in my battery. I found out because one cell in the battery was completely empty, and once that happens you can't use the battery anymore. The battery was 3 1/2 years old. Be sure and be specific about what you want when getting the service done. The responsiveness was very good. I called them, made my appointment, and they took care of it.

Quote for service performed was lowest of 3 quotes and closest to home. Actual price was less than quoted. Work was compled in one day. As luck would have it the battery failed while at the shop. Battery was under warranty by nearby auto parts store and Petes picked up and exchanged the battery at no additional cost. Car was idleing rough and they adjusted at no additional cost. Over and above that they washed the car, inside and out at no additional cost. I have never recieved such good service and had additional service added at no cost to me.

Vehicle would cut off when the motor got warm, could only drive in the morning in the wintertime. I had it in 5 different shops before. Pete's. The previous shops: (1)replaced the gas filter, (2) added a quart of oil, (3) changed the exhaust manifold gasket, (4) did a tune-up, and (5) said they checked it out and find the problem. Pete's found the cause and fixed it by replacing the wire to the coil. They also did some other work that I requested after this was fixed. I had spent about $850 in the other 5 shops before taking it to Pete's.
