We are thrilled with our new bathroom, it's even better than we expected. We replaced a soaking tub with a shower and were able to retain the large window over the tub to be included inside the shower. A small wall was removed so previously unused area could be made into an additional clothes closet. They did lighting, plumbing, framing, tile and sheet rock. Everything was precise and professional and accommodated any changes we asked for. They even paid for carpet cleaning in the adjoining bedroom at the completion of the job. Paid about $15,000 total, an extremely fair price for what we got. Highly recommend this company.

The new shower is beautiful. Jim, Marco and Orlando were great. They demolished the old shower in 1 day, started rebuilding the shower the next day and were completed fairly quickly. They were also polite and very responsive concerning any rework or design changes that we asked for. I plan on calling on Sonoran Vista again for work on my other bathroom.

Working with Jim was seamless. Jim was dependable timely and takes pride in work and clean up. Sub-subcontractors were great. Jim was always present and always made sure at end of day work was cleaned up and done correctly. I felt very comfortable with Jim and he is very trustworthy.

We needed to replace just about everything in the tiny bathroom of the 1940s home we bought: There was a wall-to-wall bath that the home had seemingly been built around and presented a challenge for removing and replacing without tearing out a wall. There was a strange plexiglass window that had been glued directly into the fiberglass shower rather than fixing or restoring the original window. There was a vanity and cupboard that were okay but took up too much space; and there was the landlord-special lighting and outlet conduit combo that looked as if they'd fall into the sink at any moment. We're not decorators or even decorating show enthusiasts and this was our first remodeling project, so everything about approaching something like this was new to us. There were a lot of words for things we didn't know. Jim was patient and explained things when we didn't understand and we really appreciated him pointing some things out that we overlooked and certainly would have missed simply because we didn't think of them beforehand: "Soap dish? Hand shower? That grout you picked out for the shower tile is really going to stand out – are you certain?" Jim and his team got the job done beautifully in the time frame he estimated at the cost he estimated. They were respectful of our place and cleaned things up well when they were done. He knows his stuff and is as friendly as he is skilled and professional. We look forward to working with him again and highly recommend Sonoran Vista Homes.

Jim & crew were punctual & did a really good job. Worked with us on our schedule. Thanks to Marco and Gregg the floors and baseboards look beautiful. They cleaned up daily. Had a big problem once concrete floors were exposed which could have caused a big delay. But Jim found someone to take care of it the next day. He also provided ideas & advice. We will definitely hire them again for projects we have planned for the future.

While things were a bit of madhouse with the number of people working on different pieces of this project it all went smoothly and there were no major delays. Jim kept everyone on schedule and the results are beautiful. A great deal of deconstruction had to be done before the construction could start .Some of it was a real problem, for instance the back splash tile in the kitchen had been set in concrete!. It took hours and hours to get all off and them repair the walls. We made a lot of trash which Jim hauled away and the work area was vacuumed every night.which helped to keep it as clean as possible. . This was a very expensive project Jim and his crew provided the labor, most of the products such as sinks, ,toilet, faucets lights etc I paid for directly when they were ordered. All the Quartz counters, bath tub and tile for walls and floors were included in the contract.. This contract also included a number of small little items like painting the decks off the house, installing some stone base board in the front courtyard.and installing tile flooring at entrance to house from garage.. Jim has been my go to person for any repairs or improvements. I think he can do most anything and if he can't, having been in the business for years, he always knows someone to call. I highly recommend him.. He's honest , reliable his pricing is fair and he always goes that extra mile

Everything that Sonoran Vista (Jim) was in charge of was excellent. I had ordered cabinets separately from Sonoran Vista that complicated some of the work. Jim worked around the barriers with the cabinets (and the other company) and actually corrected 2 issues with the cabinets which he didn't need to do. Jim was very responsive and professional throughout the process. He wanted to make sure that I was pleased with the different aspects of the job. He answered all questions and provided additional support and information as needed. Jim was a pleasure to work with and made sure that I was satisfied at each step of the process. I have already recommended Sonoran Vista to others and would use them again if needed in the future.

I have a small home and he helped me add a backsplash and some new knobs on my cabinets to make things look a little nicer, and I just LOVE the work he did. He gave me some suggestions and then I went and picked them out myself, but everything looks so nice that I can sit and look at it all day. His small additions brought everything together and I just can't say enough good things. Very courteous, polite and professional too. I would definitely recommend him to others.

After hiring Sonoran Vista Homes for a Bathroom remodel in 2017, my daughter needed a Tub/Shower/Tile replacement done, so I naturally called Jim first to get a quote. Jim showed up within a day, on Saturday as I recall, ready to take measurements and evaluate what needed to be done. By the next day I had a quote and an approximate date that they could get started. Within a couple weeks Jim and Greg showed up and began the work of tearing out the old tub and the surrounding walls all the way to the studs. This was one of those soaking tubs, so it was larger than a standard, so we wanted to be a bit more creative so Jim and Greg designed shelving units in walls surrounding the tub (See Attached Photos). The job turned out GREAT, which I expected based on the work Jim and Greg did at my house (See my other review). As we got into the job, we also had Jim and Greg tile both bathrooms, replace the toilets and even rip up the linoleum in the kitchen and entryway and tile them. I highly recommend Sonoran Vista Homes, Jim and Greg do excellent work, while remaining flexible to changing ideas and adding work, which seems to be a family trait with my wife and daughter when it comes to remodeling projects.

Our plan was to gut our Master Bath and make it an "Age In Place" bath... aka ADA ready (hope we'll never need) bath. Jim came out and was very flexible to what I needed to be done vs. what I could do myself. Jim and his son Greg (who does 95% of the work) does very good work. Greg ripped out the old shower and lowered the floor in the new show to be wheelchair ready... even if a wheelchair is never needed, we love the design. No Show Door!. We had a walk-in tub installed by Independent Homes, and Jim and Greg finished off very nicely. New tile on the walls and the floor, even widening the bath door... remember a wheelchair would need a wider door. While Jim and Greg do excellent work, they are in no hurry... but that worked for us, as we were able to discuss pretty much each step and that is just as I liked it. I also did the vanity with Granite, which was something I had started before hiring Jim. If you like the ability to be flexible, you'd be happy with Jim and Greg.

It went well, Jim's suggestions were appreciated and best of all he listened to what we wanted. Suppliers were suggested and we found them easy to work with and reasonably priced. Jim and Greg show up on time, they work hard and clean up afterwards. We are pleased with the results and would recommend them.

Worked out beautifully!  Love it.  Should have done it years ago.

We are very satisfied with the result.  Jim's choice of subcontractors was excellent - he kept a tight reign on them to insure schedule and quality. Work performed directly by Sonoran Vista Homes (flooring, tile work and plumbing) was first rate and on schedule - never any attempt to get by with "good enough". They made sure we were happy with the result.  They handled last minute changes we requested promptly.
Communication was excellent - if there was an issue with something we heard about it right away. If they were to be late they always let us know.
There was an error in measurement by the custom cabinet contractor that resulted in the refrigerator sticking out too far and blocking some drawers. A wall had to be extended out into the garage to provide clearance and electrical connections and the water faucet for refer ice maker had to be moved as well.  Since this occurred on the last couple of days we were to be in Tucson, Jim rescheduled some other jobs to build it, and, with a great deal of effort, did so and finished it so we could leave on time and insured that the cabinet contractor (who otherwise did excellent work and would use again) did some work around to insure we had what we had asked for.  The wall extension looked like it was part of the original house.
It is difficult to know if the prices charged are/or are not consistent with other General Contractors. However, the quality of the work and the on-time performance certainly justified what we paid for the work done.
We would not hesitate to use Sonoran Vista Homes for any future work on our Tucson home or to recommend them to others.

They are very reasonable and do excellent work. They really know what they are doing. They showed up for work, and they finished their work. They did a real excellent job. It's a father and son duo. He has been in business for a while, and he knows what he is about. They were always there when they were supposed to. They returned phone calls, so they were prompt. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

The project went smoothly; Jim helped us plan the remodel; suggested places to find the tile, fixtures and cabinet. The work was carefully done and each question was answered and each issue resolved quickly and satisfactorily. They cleaned up each day and at the end of the project.  We are pleased.

k our opinion, Jim G of Sonoran Vista Homes is the only choice for remodeling work. He and his crew removed the popcorn ceiling throughout our home protecting our belongings. They also repainted the entire home. The kitchen was remodeled excellently and is a showpiece. Jim handled all the necessary arrangements to with our cabinet people and the granite counter people. He ordered and installed new closet doors in the master bedroom. He has always been prompt to respond to my calls for help with several leaks due to freezing and help with my problems with a flooring company.
If you are looking for a contractor to perform professionally, promptly and at an affordable price, you cannot go wrong with Sonoran Vista Homes. We definitely will continue to employ them as our needs arise. Thank you Jim and Greg.

Overall it could not have gone any better, I am an architect who has worked with contractors for over 30 years and
I have nevre had a better outcome. Jim and his crew showed up on time they worked very professionaly they kept everything
clean during the demolition. The built-out went very smooth, whenvever there was any problelm with anything unseen Jim was
very good about listening to our concerns and met all our expectations. They finished the work on time and within the budget it turned out great. I can't say enough good things about Jim he is honest, hard working and full of great ideas. I would not hesitate to use him again, and  I have recomended him to all my friends.

Once we had picked out a tile, he was able to get it for us at a contractor discount. He and is son were punctual and very professional.  They were very careful to keep the dust level down and hung plastic curtains to protect the rest of the house.  It took the three days he said it would - one day to chip out the old tile, one day to lay the new tile and one day to do the grout.  He will be back Monday to seal the grout.  He gave us 48 grout samples to choose from to get the one that best matched the new tile.  The new tile looks beautiful and we are very pleased with the job he did.

They helped with the design and they are open to all inputs. They were prompt and response to all our concerns. They follow up on each and everything. They were completely perfect on price with other bidders and they gave a sense of trust and confidence.

Mr. Jim took our kitchen from the 1940 to the present.  A complete redo from finishes to appliances, he did a great job.
