He arrived exactly on time. He checked the inside unit as well as the unit outside. He cleaned the filter and also vacuumed around the inside unit to keep it clean. He ran the unit for a lengthy period of time and checked the temperature readings at the air duct  in every room of the house. Two days later, I made a follow up phone call to him  to tell him about an intermittent squeaky noise that occurs when the ac unit turns on. This noise did not occur during his visit.  He promptly returned my phone call. The noise does not occur with every cycle (very unpredictable). Therefore,  I made the decision to wait to gather more data before he came back.  I know he would have come that day if I had requested. I am instead going to record the noise, and then schedule a time for him to check it out. Otherwise, the unit works great.
