Acura of Tempe

I haven't been too happy with them. I had a really bad experience with them that somebody should know about. The staff seemed to be a little impatient. I can't say they were bad, but they weren't warm and fuzzy. The service was terrible. Here is what happened. There was damage to the car. I am chemically sensitive and so I requested very specifically to not use any chemicals in detailing the car, anything that smells. I had a couple of spots where an ink pen had blend into a black carpet, so it was just barely visible. I pointed out the spot and I said see if you can get that spot out and please don't use any chemicals. When I got the car back, it reeked and it was so bad. It was very warm. It was like a 104 degrees and first of all I got a TV interview scheduled for the next day and I had planned to drive back from where I live. I live in Sedona, which is a 120 miles away from Phenix. I had planned to drive back that day and the car reeked so badly, first of all I had to drive with all of the windows open in the 104 degrees temperature. And it smelled so bad that I could not drive the car and make it back to Sedona. So it really had a negative influence on my preparation for the TV interview. And so it had a negative impact on my career. But in addition, I had a car top carrier, which is one of those Swedish camping gear. And whatever they did, just chewed it up and the paint has peeled down to the fiber glass base. I was so upset with them, I never really filed a complaint which I probably should have. But there was just other negligence. I took the car in at seven in the morning and I didn't get it until 4:30 or five in the afternoon. And off course, I had told them that I wanted to drive back to Sedona, please give it to me early and they didn't. I certainly didn't get my money's worth. They just told me that, well, that's the way it is. I would tell all my friends not to use them.
