Let's start with good things -- done! There aren't any. What can be said is 1. Rude 2. Complete lack of customer service 3. Pricy 4. Haven't got the first idea of schedule -- told it would be 3-4 months to repair it's 7 months now, their reply was "it will be done when it's done. Buy a new watch and don't waste your time here!

Paul advised he would try to fix and if he can't he will not scratch it up, he did it very easy and put a battery in it and its been working ever since. We also have grandfather clock, they gave us advise about our clock, they just gave us good advice even though they didn't work on them.

Hugely put off by constantly being told that they knew nothing about the status for the clock. It seems they have one person only working maybe one day a week on clocks. This is my assumption but probably not far from the truth.

Did a good job - prompt, did what he said he would do, no problems. Price of repair may be good, cannot say since we've never had the clock fixed before and have nothing to compare it to. However, we are happy that the clock is repaired and keeping time perfectly.

My high-end 25 year old diving watch quit working over a year ago and the
original Swiss manufacturer's service center (who had maintained it for all of those
years) said parts were no longer available and they would no longer service
it and sent it back.. Ye Olde Clock Shoppe did the repairs through their contracted watch specialist.
Several months previously they had worked on my husband's matching watch and had it done in about a week.
They are currently working on replacing the workings in an antique clock that has been in my family for years. They
appear to have expert knowledge about antique clocks.

Shortly after the watch was returned to me, water in a swimming pool flooded it. The entire mechanism could have been damaged permanently -- I had to find a jelwer in another town ASAP, who discovered thread wear on the winding stem and couldn't understand why Ye Olde Clock Shoppe had not advised me of it. Questioned via email, YOCS' reply was shrill, inappropriate, overly defensive, and loaded with lawyerly language like "defaming." They asserted the flooding was all MY fault and none of theirs. I set the time wrong, etc. Well I've worn this watch for twenty years and know how to set it. Many better ways to handle a customer complaint could have been chosen, but they handled mine with a defensive snarl because I stated I felt I was due a refund. The extra, avoidable repair service in another city cost me an added $550. Needless to say, I consider this shop no place to seek jewelry repair. Buyer beware

"1. I am not an Angie's List member. 2. My Rolex repairman did in fact replace the tube with a new, genuine Rolex part at time of repair 3. The member opened the crown to change the time since he lives in a different time zone. He did not securely fasten it down properly, hence water got in. 4. The only thing his new repairman needed to do was dry out the watch. 5. I have discussed with my council and I am not going to succomb to Blackmail. 6. I am emphatic this is not published in Tucson. It counteracts your own set privacy policy and is defamation of character. Viki Watson, president."

He was prompt and professional. I think everyone is expected to pay $80 for travel no matter where they live.

The technician came to the house on time with a case of the most interesting tools. He was neat, careful, thoughtful, took time to explain what he was doing, and thoroughly enjoyed doing it, too.
