My first appointment went well. We made a treatment plan and labs were ordered. I was also set up to start a regimen of treatment. I came back to learn self-injection, that went well, too. When I returned, Dr Dunshee was very unsettled that I had been given the injection and had refilled the prescription. It turned out that my blood work did not qualify me for the treatment, but since it made me feel better we continued it. Planning for retirement required that I purchase health insurance in the Marketplace and had to do so by 12/15/18. His office did not know which insurance companies they would contract with until January. I was supposed to see Dr Dunshee this morning, but received a call only yesterday asking what my insurance was. Long story short, they didn’t contract with my insurance company so I can no longer be served by this doctor. I would just walk away rather than writing a bad review except that I spent last week trying to get prescription refilled. Every person I talked to said it was going to happen, it had been sent, then sent to the wrong place, then needed his medical assistant to help...on and on. Inconsistent messages drive us all crazy because we don’t know what to think. In the end, I believe his staff simply doesn’t care. When I express my frustration and anger I was told, “I’m sorry you feel that way .” Classic non-apology.

I had complications from my procedure, including pain and some bleeding. The doctor (Favazza) was unavailable. Staff were rude and unhelpful. I could not schedule an emergency appointment. I could not see another doctor at their practice. He was not available by phone. They didi let me see a nurse, who was not helpful. I finally saw the doctor 3 weeks later, and he was very unhelpful. He said there's no problem, even though there is visible damage to my groin area, as well as lots of pain, and urgency in urinating. I still have pain 2 months later; I'm looking for another doctor to assess the situation. I would not recommend that anyone use Dr Favazza, or Urological Associates, under any circumstance.

While Dr. Ramakumar did excellent work, I felt that his staff at the Silverbell office was very rude and demanding. It's too bad when you try to explain the reason for your visit on the telephone, and the person on the other end of the line continually butts in and will not listen to you!

The surgery went well without any major glitches and my PSA has been "0" since the surgery. Dr. Ramakumar is easy going and very knolwledgeable. In follow-up meetings with Dr. Ramakumar, I found that there were several questions that I still had due to a lack of my understanding of some of the terminology being used. My only complaint would be that Dr. Ramakumar and his staff may assume that everyone understands their procedures and related descriptions of outcomes and as a result, I had to press to resolve some of my confusion over what I was being told.

Dr. Ramakumar is professional and has a good bedside manner. I felt comfortable with him and was satisfied with his care. He recommended an appropriate course of tests/treatment for my condition and I plan to see him again in the future if I require further care.

Dr. Sethny is part of a large practice and the waiting room is often crowded. However, the office staff are very friendly and helpful. They great you quickly and inform Dr. Sethny's medical assistant. I clean catch urine specimen is reguired. Then the assistant takes you to an exam room. Dr. Sethny comes within 10 minutes or so. He shakes your hand and greats you in friendly manner. He reviews the symptoms, and any problems. He answers questions. He never rushes through the appointment, and makes you feel that you have a right to participate in the process. After the appointment is ended, you go to the cashier where payment is made and the next appoinment is scheduled.

I have to take calcium supplements, so he was checking that that wasn't creating any problems. He's trying to prevent me from having more kidney stones. He's very knowledgeable and is conservative in his treatment. He's a little bit old school, in terms of electronic medical records, but that doesn't bother me at all because I really appreciate the quality of care that he provides. The waiting room has a TV that is a bit loud, which is the only downside.

I probably will be getting prostate cancer, I didn’t have it as of February and to arrive at that conclusion, they did 12 biopsies of my prostate. I can assure that there was no pain for the way he did it. I have talked to other people down there that will never go through it again, it was so painful. It all has to do with the administration of little amount of Novocaine, a numbing agent, before they do the biopsy. I don’t know why Dr. Sethney is so good and other people whom I spoke said they didn’t believe it went like that for me. I walked in and walked out, had no pain whatsoever. His office is fine. I didn’t have to wait. There were no big backlogs. They took me in after a few minutes after I got there. I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I am with him.

We were very happy with him. He was very good about explaining what he was going to do and what was going to happen. He explained it in a clear way that we could understand and then he did it. I would tell others go to get a checkup from him and see what he has to say. I would give his availability a B; he’s very busy. We're both on Medicare so a lot of the billing was taken out of our hands.

He saved one of her kidneys. My wife likes him a lot and I do too. He has an excellent bedside manner. He is an excellent surgeon too. His staff is caring as him. He is punctual and efficient. He seems to be on top of everything in his field. He would be my urologist if I need one.

I was able to make an appointment within 4 days of calling to discuss my concerns about overactive bladder, as tentatively diagnosed by my GP. Wanted to get an expert opinion.
After a brief wait, met Dr. Choi, a genial yet business-like M.D. who did a urine test and asked me many questions, taking careful notes. He told me the test was fine, which was reassuring. He questioned me carefully and determined I do not have OAB. We discussed both alternative and traditional medical steps to take for the mild symptoms I have, which come with aging.
He gave sensible advice, is open to some alternative relief, and since leaving my problem has eased considerably.I would definitely see him again if needed.

The biopsy went well. I had a somewhat unexpected complication, but it was handled well and I recovered.
