I chose them from a mailing. They said they would give me a good deal on my trade-in. I went in and they convinced me that I should buy a new car. The person I dealt with was very good, not pushy at all. Not high pressure sales, just showed you the vehicles. Took me for a test drive, told me what was available. I bought one that was coming in. I'm very happy I did, I must say. I didn't know at the time, I had looked a little bit online, but between 2009 and 2012 there were no fatalities with people that were driving the Subaru legacies. Very safe care, incredibly well engineered. The car itself kind of convinced me. It was a very good experience. Buying a car sometimes you end up in a sweet. When it came in, the guy took 2 hours and sat in the car and went over all the features with me. It's the first Subaru I've ever had and I'm very happy with it.

The agreement on price went quickly. Signing the paperwork was trefoils and consumed several hours. Much of the time was wasted on selling the extended warranty. This coverage is not presented until the time of signing. I would have been a much happier camper had I received the extended warranty information when we first started looking at cars. I, by nature, am suspicious of any "deal" that must be signed that day and almost didn't buy the extended coverage. I would have appreciated being given the opportunity to buy it within one week of the auto purchase. Next time I will tell them they have one hour from the time I sign the offer with the salesperson to complete all paprrwork or I walk away.

All went well. We have the car serviced there regularly so no surprises. Coffee, tea and light snacks are available while you wait and the customer receives a coupon for a free car-wash when you pick up your car.
Note: Dealership is expanding to a new location in a different part of town. Call to find out when.

They are very good. Especially the guy name Dan who is the manger and he is awesome. I have taken my car there many times over the years and they are very good. I used to go to another dealership and these guys are way better. I would recommend them to anybody because they are very good with repairs. They have been very good. They provide transportation. They pick you up and drop you back. They are very honest. They tell you how much the work would cost and they saver your money. They do a great job. I have never had any problem with the work they have done. I would recommend them highly. You don't feel like a number there because they know you. They are not a huge dealership. Their prices are the same as anybody else.

We had our 2010 Subaru Outback scheduled for its 30,000 mile service. Upon arrival at the shop, which is now called Tucson Subaru, my wife learned that the cost estimate for this routine service was going to be $438. She cried foul. When asked why the cost was so high, she was given a litany of services that supposedly needed to be performed. We had wondered about the pricing for past services (all between $100 and $250), but had accepted due to an extended warranty we had bought when we initially purchased the car. My wife wondered how much a regular oil change would cost and asked if all the other services were really needed to maintain the warranty. When she spotted the sales person who sold us the vehicle, she engaged him and had him talk to their service department. He said he would look into things and privately spoke to the service person. She was called into the office and was angrily told that the service would not HAVE to be performed, but should anything go wrong with the car and it would be linked to this particular service, it would be our fault and the warranty might be nullified at that point. My wife felt pressured and called me. Over the phone, I advised the sales representative that I had owned a lot of vehicles previously, to include factory new BMWs and Audis. None of these high-priced models ever required regular maintenance of this magnitude. As my wife had become very upset at their business, they simply performed the oil change. We will not return to Tucson Subaru for future services.

The check engine light came on so I took the car in the next day. The car had never had the timing belt changed and needed a boot replaced so I authorized that which cost almost $1K. I was told the catalytic converter had failed and that would be another $765 to replace. The car was running great, made no noise etc. I decided not to have them do the work. I took the car to an exhaust place who identified the problem as an Oxygen sensor which was 1/2 the price and the correct diagnosis. Apparently this dealership was sold in Dec 09 and I'm afraid things are not the same. Not sure I want to go back again.

I was stunned at the cost of the above work -- $775! -- and the car, a 2005 Subaru Outback with 39,000 miles, was in the shop for four and a half hours. Nothing else was wrong with the car. It felt to me that the dealer's service center was padding the bill enormously. They charged me $384 for the above labor. I called my dealer in New Jersey, where I purchased the car, and where I have religiously gone for maintenance every three months, and they were stunned at the price.

We've had our 2006 Outback in to them several times in the last two years. Once was to have the clutch and a gear in the transmission replaced. I don't remember what amount our total billl was but what I do remember is that these items had gone past warranty (the car currently has almost 100K miles on it) but they covered them anyway. That was a big plus for determining whether we ever wanted to go back. Another time I smelled a strong hot grease odor which was due to a split boot. I took the car in and as their driver was about to take me to my work place they announced my name on the loud speaker and car was finished. The last time was to get the brakes replaced. Point here is the brakes had never been worked on and made it over 90K before needing serviced. Again, quick and great customer service. If I could buy a third car right now I'd think of buying another Subaru because I know I'd get good local support for service.

I have been using this company for four years and they are always very straightforward. They don't over charge and I think that they do a really good job. They have done all of the regular maintenance on my car so far.

Emich Subaru is a great place to bring your car. They are a little bit far for me, from where I live. But, their honesty and high level of customer service make it worth the extra drive. They are courteous and professional and they get my car in and out quickly, usually the same day.
