Chris shows up exactly when expected, cleans and services the pool, contacts us if there are any maintenance or repair issues that require special attention. This has been occurring regularly for more than 10 years.

GET A WRITTEN ESTIMATE IF YOU ARE GOING TO HIRE THESE PEOPLE. I called in the morning and they were able to schedule someone to come out that same day. Two service techs showed up on time and they called before they arrived. They were polite and completed their work within about 1.5 hours. They replaced the motor and the seals for the pump. Prior to completing the work, they gave me a verbal estimate of the cost for two options. Luckily I asked the tech to write the information down. He gave me some hand written notes on the back of a service card. The price seemed high (including a $250 charge for a motor that I could personally purchase for under $200 from the local pool supply store) but I was anxious to get the work done before the pool turned green so I agreed. Within 48 hours of the work being completed the filter literally exploded from pressure being too high. It emptied much of the pool water and the filter had to be replaced. (We hired somebody else to do that work.)
We made Tucson Pool and Spa aware of the complication before any further work was done. They denied any wrongdoing without even an investigation. Then they billed me $495, including a $350 charge for the motor. Of course I disputed that amount, but that would have been difficult if the tech hadn't scribbled the estimate down at my request.
My impression coming away from this experience is that these people are not trustworthy and I would not work with them again. But if you do decide to give them a chance, I strongly recommend that you get the estimate for work in writing. Also, become familiar with A.R.S. 47-3311 for when you have to dispute the claim.

OK service. The company is good; the pool guy that comes to our house rubs me wrong. Very defensive when I ask questions. Get the feeling that when we're away he realy doesn't do a thorough job. Comoes on Tuesdays; didn't show up thanksgiving week. When I call the main office, they are responsive; otherwise I'd change.

Had them for weekly service. Often the filters would not be cleaned. The weekly service was horrible. Sometimes, he would be there for less than 5 minutes.
On the positive side, when I needed service, they were professional and able to get the problem solved. Unfortunately, with filter being clogged so frequently, I needed lots of service, including replacing the pump.
I finally went with a new service.

We were having trouble with our pool not being clear. Mike from Tucson
Pool & Spa made an appointment with us, arrived as scheduled, made
his recommendation to replace our filter He explained the pros and cons
of two different types of filters. He called within 36 hrs. to give us
an estimate on two different systems. He did the work as scheduled and
did an excellent job.

They failed to always clean the filters weekly and failed to inform us or replace broken filter baskets which caused our pump to labor for months. They often failed to properly secure pipes when they did clean filters. Their weekly/monthly service is a joke and we feel it is the reason are pump system had to be replaced prematurely. We terminated our contract with them. However, their technical staff and mechanics are excellent and professional, but we used another firm to install a new motor. They accepted no responsibility for a clogged filter that had not been cleaned for months. Their weekly pool crew is worthless in our opinion.

The gentleman that came out did a very nice job. He really knew what he was talking about, and I think he gave me very good advice. He ordered the part and was back the next day to continue with the job. The price was exactly what he said it would be, and the quality of work was very good. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

They are knowledgeable. Their service depends on who you have out. Their service is quite expensive though. They are very professional and punctual too. Their service is good, but last time they couldn't fix my problem. I have been with them for 15 years.

They are cheaper than the people we were using. We are very happy with them and we?ll stick with them. They come the same day every month, we don?t have to be here, they do the work in ten minutes, and they come right out if we have any problems.

Poor to awful. First, nobody showed up for the first scheduled day. I called and they sent someone. The representative told me the pool sweeper was worn out (true) and suggested a replacement. The suggested replacement was the wrong type for my pool. They agreed to take it back, but after a week I had to return it myself. A few weeks later I noticed that the chlorinator was empty. The record card showed no one had come on the assigned day, Tuesday. On the following Saturday I noticed someone had come since Tuesday. The record card said someone had come Tuesday. I know that was false. The serviceman falsified the record. I spoke with the boss who assured me the service would be very good thereafter. I noticed a few weeks later that the record card was missing. I put a note in the switch box asking why there was no card. I got no answer. Yesterday was Tuesday. Nobody came. I have had enough. Today I terminated service.

It was a mess. It seemed to me like they did not know what they were doing. Before it was over, they had come out four times and it turned out that the guy really did not know how to wire the motor properly. My experience with customer services was less than satisfactory. They seemed to be nice people buy I would not recommend them.

ITS SO NICE TO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE UP KEEP OF MY POOL. I HAVE USED THEM NOW FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS, AND THEY ALWAYS DO A GREAT JOB FOR ME, AND I HAVE NO WORRIES THAT THEY WOULDN'T.

I AM ALWAYS PLEASED WITH HOW PROFESSIONAL THE MAN FROM TUCSON POOL AND SPA IS. I'M NOT ALWAYS THERE WHEN HE COMES BUT HE GOES RIGHT TO WORK. HE IS ALSO A GOOD GUY TO JOKE WITH.
