I first began looking into re-sodding my yard on a Thursday, at which time I left messages for three separate landscapers. I received a return call from James within 1-2 hours; the other individuals took 2-3 days to re-contact me. James was honest from the start providing me with recommendations and a cost estimate of my options. My initial vision was to install fake grass because of my poor experience with real grass 3 years prior. James talked to me about my past experience and offered guidance on ways
to assure success if we were to plan fresh sod - which would be a considerable savings for me. With his guidance and overall evaluation of the project we chose real grass. Our initial plan was to begin the project on Monday, estimated at lasting 1 day, however when James was unable to find sod that he felt was fresh and up to his standards he immediately contacted me with my options - one of which was for him to drive to Casa Grande to view their selection. We both agreed waiting for a fresh deliver was our best choice. After a full days work on the project it became apparent some additional time would be needed, James informed me of this and was able to return the next morning. To my surprise there were no additional charges.
James and his coworker Robert are hardworking, honest, and reliable workers whom I will defiantly refer to family/friends and fully intend to use for future projects.

I have found James to be quite a good painter and 100% very service oriented. He was always willing to work with me to go a little extra to make sure I was happy with his service and quality. He did a very good job at a very reasonable rate. I would definitely have him do other jobs for me. And I discovered he is actually good at landscaping and general handyman things as well !

Once again we called James to see if he could help us. He responded very quickly and gave a price over the phone. We accepted immediately. Given his performance with our previous landscape needs, we knew what we were getting into with James. We scheduled the work and he arrived as discussed. Again he was very professional, personable and finished our job with an eye to detail. He was also patient with our schedule needs.
When his company name states and quot;THE WHOLE NINE YARDSand quot; its the truth!
This young man is a breath of fresh air when it comes to unlicensed contractors.
We are having him come back in May and do the outside trim on our brick home and will continue to use him in the future.
I love my rooms! The paint applied gives it more light within the space. EXCELLENT JOB!

James is defiantly a hard worker with a definite sense of responsibility and fairness. He called us back within 24 hours of my call and came to our property at our earliest convenience.
He responded very quickly with a bid we were willing to accept. I had called a few others to bid of course. I never heard back from two companies and the other person that actually came out had a attitude that didn't set well with us. We did receive a bid from that person, which was considerably over by quite a bit than from what James had quoted us.
We called James back and we scheduled the work to be done. It took him only 2 1/2 days. We expected a week! He also made some excellent suggestions, which we took him up on. These were meant for our benefit not his..(since he barley added cost to the original bid)! He and his worker did an EXCELLENT job. We even gave him more than he quoted. We think James is personable, professional and very hard working. We would DEFIANTLY have him do more for us in the future! Well worth our money!
He told me he had started his business in early 2011. He had a little bit of a rough start but seems to be very doing well.
He is well worth considering, amongst those out there, in our experience.

Received a very reasonable quote, much less expensive than some of the professional tree services around town. The and quot;companyand quot; consists of a young man who brings a helper or two with him to the job. He had to re-schedule a couple of times, one time because his truck broke down.
Everything was going well as they were cutting down my palm trees in the backyard with the chainsaw. Things went downhill when they let a piece of the tree trunk fall right onto my wrought iron fence, bending the top rail and buckling all of the wrought iron pickets. I had to replace the entire section of fence, approximately 10 feet long. The cost of the replacement section, painted and installed, was $300.
The young man offered to pay for the fence repair. I felt bad for him because of the cost of the fence repair was almost the same as what he was getting for the job. So I offered to split the cost of the fence 50-50. He said he would get the money to me within the next couple of days. So I went ahead and paid in full for the work that he did, trusting that he would reimburse me for half the cost of the fence that he damaged.
Make a long story short, I called and called and called again. Never heard from him again.
In summary, he's a hard worker and he did good work, and his price can't be beat. But I'm guessing he's not bonded and insured (don't know this for a fact). So if you want a cheap price on yard work, this is the guy. But do so at your own risk!

Landscaping, Tree Service
We were more than pleased with the quality of the work performed by The Whole Nine Yards. The company has an impressive web page that led us to contact them in the first place. Rather than having to wait for them to come and view the damage first hand, James suggested that we send him an e-mail containing photos of the broken tree and that he could give us an estimate more quickly that way. That method worked well for us and saved considerable time. The date and time scheduled for the job met our expectations very well. Both the removal of the broken tree and the trimming of the trees in the front yard were completed in a prompt and professional manner at a cost that matched the estimate and was more than reasonable for the amount and quality of the work performed. In viewing and talking to James and his assistant before they started and as they worked, we knew that we were dealing with people who were knowlegable and experienced in their field. We would not hesitate to use their services again and freely recommend them to anyone in need of such services.
