The work done in 2019 was very good. Jim did none of this; his crew did everything.I paid him $3,800.00 for this work. In 2020, I called Jim and asked him to cut the large branch on one of our mesquite trees. Before I could tell him that it was impinging on one of our expensive cacti, he interrupted me to say that coming to our house to cut only one branch was "not worth my while." I then emailed him reminding him that I had spent $3,800.00 with his company the previous year, and that I had hoped for more loyalty from him. He failed to respond to the email. He has now lost a good customer.

They had both trees down within 3 hours. They deducted cost of hauling away the remnants since we have bulk and trashy pickup coming soon, but cut everything into manageable pieces and arrange them neatly in the yard. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. We will be using him again in the future to trim up an out of control mesquite.

Jim and his crew were great. They knocked off a lot of work with dispatch, cleaned up thoroughly, and explained what they were doing. We will certainly use them again.

The crew arrived when scheduled and had both trees down and the yard cleaned up within three hours of starting. They deducted the cost of hauling away the refuse as we have brush and bulky pickup coming soon, but cut it up into manageable pieces and stacked it neatly in the yard. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. We will definitely use them again to trim up an out of control mesquite.

This was the third time I used Jim Moseman's company.  The first time was when a Palo Verde tree fell over during a storm. He said eh was really busy, but would check because the tree was on a fence. He gave me an estimate and cut enough of the tree immediately to get the tree off the fence. He scheduled a time to come back and was on time, cut up the tree and hauled it all away. The second time was was before I installed solar panels. A large mesquite tree and olive tree blocked sun on parts of the roof.  He gave me an estimate, he crew came on time, trimmed the trees, even cut the mesquite into sections that I could use in my fireplace, and cleaned up well. The olive tree was cut back appropriately. the last time I used The Tree Surgeon was in January when another mesquite tree had started to press down on the electric line. Again, he came on time and gave me an estimate. He also pointed out that one palm tree in the yard was dying. He gave me an estimate to trim the mesquite tree, his crew came on time, did the work, and cleaned up effectively. I would call them again.

He didn't know what he was doing - he dropped the saquaro, snapping the tap root in the process. He mutilated my poor mesquite tree, cutting off a major limb that provided a canopy to the driveway.

I did find them very professional...was extremely pleased and if i had done this review right away, I would have given an A plus rating.

(date of service may not be correct) About 6 weeks later, I choose to plant 2 other trees. The lime was planted where a lime had been previously. Perhaps 2-3 weeks later, all sorts of lime plants were sprouting up. I am unable to see the new lime tree ( about 2 feet when planted.) If the tree and roots and stump were taken out, I am not sure how this is happening. The other tree planted (almond) has grown....but I have a huge amount of citrus plants sprouting up with it. An orange tree had been there. I am not sure how to get rid of these.

We really like their work. They are methodical and smart. They trimmed our mesquite trees and palm tree. They were very careful to explain what they were going to do and why they were going to do it. They were there when they said they would be and stayed until the job was done. They were knowledgeable and the price was decent for what they did. They cleaned up after themselves. I had absolutely no problems.
