Although the job performed was satisfactory, I was disappointed to discover afterwards that tinting the windshield on a car is illegal in Arizona. Why didn't the salesperson tell me this? Instead he informed me that the work would be and quot;Arizona legaland quot;. I believe that it was the responsibility of this company to tell me that the work they were performing did not comply with Arizona laws.
Anything for a sale I suppose. This is an ethical issue as far as I'm concerned.

Excellent, friendly and skilled customer service. We went there with a mysterious electrical problem in our car, expecting to pay at least $45 for the initial diagnosis. Jerry, the sales specialist, recognised the problem immediately from our description, and fixed it in 3 minutes, with no charge. Highly recommended on all counts.

I bought 2 Groupons to have window tinting done on my vehicle at The Specialists. When I called to set an appointment to have the work done I wanted to do both cars on the same day one after the other so that my wife and I could run some errands etc. while the work was being done. They were able to accommodate our request without a problem.
When we arrived at the shop we were greeted and the sales person explained our options as far as different film quality and advantages. He seemed very knowledgeable and did not simply try to push us toward the most expensive option.
We chose the basic film for our older car and an upgraded film for our newer vehicle based on recommendations from the sales guy.
We dropped off the first vehicle and left to do some shopping. The guy gave us a call to let us know the first car was done and we went and dropped off the second one. The work done on the first vehicle (the older one with the basic film installed) seemed excellent. I was amazed at how nice the work and the vehicle looked.
When we came back a couple of hours later to pick up the second vehicle we found that they had just started on it. We expected that it would be done by then but understood that he had other work being done that day and it still would be done by the time he originally had told us. I wound up having to wait about 1-1/2 hours for the second vehicle but, again, they had not promised anything different.
The work done on the second vehicle was again exceptional and I am very happy with the installation. They even gave me a free can of their special window cleaning stuff since I had to wait for the second vehicle.
Again, the staff was very professional and the work was done very well.

The technician gave me an estimated cost and completion date. It cost a
little more than the original estimate as the parts needed to be
replaced and not repaired. However they did call me before they
proceeded with the work so I could approve the additional cost or elect
not to do the repair. I made appointments for all service work. The
scheduled removal of the CD changer and the reinstall were both done at
the scheduled time and I did not have to wait for service. The changer
is working and I would recommend them.

When I returned several hours later after dropping the car, I was told their tinters hadn't come in, so I would have to go to a different location for that. The radio was finished, however. Wish they had called me to tell me that earlier, as at that point I had 3 hours into waiting. I live 1.5 hours from the location, so I told them I would go to the other location, as they had informed me I was first on the list. Well, as it turns out, I was not on the top of the list, and it took another several hours of waiting before my car was finished. Basically spent all day just waiting for the car and was fairly frustrated by then. I must say, however, that dealing with the Specialists was delightful in general, and everyone tried really hard to assist me. The individual helping me decide between a new one and repairing the old one was most helpful, and she also helped me decide what type of tinting I needed. I think the problems with taking all day to do my car were specific to my situation that day and not generally with the company, which I found in general to be very helpful. I would go back to them for additional work.

They did a great job at a reasonable price. I would recommend them. The Speedway location has the most experienced installers.

When I first went there to inquire about price and types of tints, etc., there were 2 young cocky guys there who didn't seem that interested in being "at work". Nevertheless, they answered my questions and showed me the different types of tints that were displayed on the front window of the shop. I made an appointment and had both cars done on the same day. They were completed very quickly, however the next day I noticed the tint was peeling in some places (even though I had followed their instructions to not roll down the windows for at least 24 hrs.). I made another appointment and they fixed the problem, no questions asked and no charge to me. The windows look very professional and virtually no air bubbles aside from about 3 miniscule ones in a couple of places, but they are so tiny that you really have to look close to see them. I am very pleased with the work and the after service care.
