He put in a new faucet for me in my bathroom but couldn?t get the drain to work so he ordered me a new one I paid him for everything including the drain & I?ve been waiting over a week for him to get back with me about the drain I haven?t heard from him since I?ve tried calling him & messaging me but he seems to avoid me I would not hire this company again they?ll rip you off I should?ve read the reviews first.

I wonâ t be hiring these guys again. Darcel charged me twice for the same job after blaming his billing system, but wouldnâ t refund me. In the meantime, he managed to extort another $1500 out of me after the worker threatened to walk off mid-job.

The irrigation system was not done well and I had to have it all redone. The underground hoses were not glued together, there were many leaks.

Never finished the project. Made many errors. Removed the green board behind shower. Should not have. Did replace. Cut bottom of each panel without asking, to fit a different way than I told him. All jagged on edge. 1/2 inch space from base in some places. Never removed the blue plastic that was for protection along edges of base and caulked over it with clear. Never put up grab bars. Put in temporary on off for shower til mine came in. Said we could switch it out. Can not. Drain not flush with the base of tub. Left my window open cause handle was broken off for 2 days. Never fixed Handle. Asked him to plese finish job. Never a response.

I have spent several days and a lot of money to undo the damage done by this person. I would like to warn everyone about that. He is also NOT insured as he claims.

He didnâ  t have his own ladder or any paint brushes. He was very professional gave a itemized receipt so in could claim the repairs on insurance.

Darcell performed the job beyond expectations. He was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable.

I wrote a previous review and gave him a 5 for be punctual and professional. I am changing my review to a .5 . When he first install the rope light he did not test them but went ahead and install them in 5 trees. Some of the light did not work and he told me that to go ahead and order 2 new stands of lights, that was in oct. 2021. I waited for him and set up a couple of appointments and he did not show. He finally contacted me after I booked time fo him to finish hanging the rest. He showed up on the 21 st of Jan. At the correct time. I was told by him that it would take about 3-4 hours. He did tested the light before he hung them. 20 minutes later I saw him fly out of my parking lot. I went to inspect the job he did, it was horrible and a joke. I thought I had hired a professional. I paid him $300 previously for a couple hours of work that also included a travel fee. I was told in a text that there would be no charge for the service today except a travel fee of $39.99. He left so fast he did not collect that fee. I fell I was totally ripped off and now I need to hire someone that knows how to put lights in a tree. I feel I deserve a refund as this job was very poorly done.

Darcell was on time for every job. He had everything he needed and, in the odd cases that was problematic, he was able to obtain them very quickly. There was no delay in his completion of various projects, ranging from replacing some dry rotted wood on the back porch, to patching and painting stucco, to recoating the roof, to patching some drywall. No job was too big or small. He even replaced several crooked light switch rockers! In addition to Darcell's professionalism and skill, he's so pleasant to have around! I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations, brief though they had to be. We were in the middle of moving and my attention was torn in seemingly innumerable directions. Even so, I gave Darcell a list of things and showed him where and what to do, and he tackled each job in turn, only asking for necessary help like shutting off circuit breakers. His communication regarding arrival times and materials was excellent. While he went over his estimates a few times, it was obvious that inflation - the rapidly increasing cost of supplies - was at fault. No one can keep up with the prices for each item right now! The overages were minor, and these were Estimates, not Quotes. I would definitely recommend Darcell and the Dee E Company for any sort of handyman work. His roof recoating even came with a three-year warranty! You'll feel at ease with him around and call on him time and again for those pesky jobs that require a little assistance - or that you don't have time to take care of yourself! Thank you for everything, Darcell! You did great work and were such a pleasure to work with!
