Sycamore Creek Apartments

We have lived in this apartment complex for eight years. I strongly urge others not to rent from this complex (An HSL Property). We do not have a water bill, but due to persistent problems with water mains and sprinkler heads, our water is often unexpectedly shut off.  Many times we discover this after the fact when our spigot explodes forcefully from water pressure and we have had photographs and wall decorations damaged. I have had the water turned off in midst of a shower and been stuck with lathered hair and my daughter has had to cancel plans due to discovering at the last minute that a shower is not available. Our complaints regarding this issue have been met with excuses, no actual remedies.
  The complex has deteriorated with large trees dying and landscaping that was once lush, is now neglected. Building maintenance has gone downhill with landings abandoned and cluttered as well as exterior lights left burnt out for long periods of time. Rent that was once reasonable has increased as the quality of the premises has decreased.  We no longer feel safe in our apartment due to vandalism and thefts in this area.  We will not be renewing our lease for these many reasons.
