Very honest and a very good mechanic. I would not use anyone else. I found them by word of mouth. They do everything well.

I had taken it in several times for a leak. He had replaced the front engine mount and put oil in it on two different occasions. I didn't know what it was that was leaking, and I thought that what he had done solved the issue, but it didn't. The car still leaked. I gave him two chances to stop the leak and am so relieved that I i took it to another mechanic because he found all kinds of issues. He found leaks, broken axels, he said the brakes were at 10% and the brake pads were completely worn down and it was too dangerous to be on the highway. Superior Automotive had me fooled and I am so glad I wasn't driving on the highway because my life could have been put in danger.

I couldn't avoid running over a metal object in the road and I could hear it scrape the bottom of my car. This is a 2013 vehicle that is still under warranty and I have been going to the dealer for warranty work.  I dreaded spending the day waiting at the dealership and then probably paying some absorbitant fee for just looking at it (and I feel a bit of mistrust at the dealer also-- after all, they don't let you go back and look while your car is on the lift.) I called Mark at Superior and he said that I could bring it right over. He put it on the lift and straightened out the minor bend in the metal underpiece and showed me that there were only some scrapes, nothing wrong. He didn't charge me anything since it only took a few minutes and there was no real damage to repair.  I feel that I have found an honest mechanic!

Mark immediately had me bring my car in. He changed the battery in my remote control for my car and switched out my old visor for my new visor.

I found Mark on Angies's List, read the comments and have been going to him now for 2-3 years. I don't have to worry about my car not starting or breaking down on they freeway. Mark does an excellent job, diagnosing problems with cars and repairing my car at a reasonable price. I like a mechanic I can trust to do the job right the first time, know what he is doing and is very through in doing a good job when working on my car with reasonable prices.

I would highly recommend "SUPERIOR AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR" to anyone. This is the third mechanic I have used in Tucson and Mark the owner is by far one of the best and trustworthy mechanics I have found in Tucson.

The engine mount was ordered from the dealer and installed by Mark. My car is riding smooth.

I am very satisfied with Superior Automotive repairs I have received. The charges are reasonable. If the work is not done properly the first time Mark (the owner) will make sure it is done correctly the next time without extra charge. From my experience Mark the owner is an honest, trustworthy, man. Dealing with mechanics this is not always the case.

I have been to them multiple times. I can tell Mark isn't much of a talker. Each time I drop the car off or go to pick it up I'm a little worried about what I am going to find because he doesn't give a lot of details. When I have dropped off the car, they just take the keys, write my number on a post-it or scrap of paper and say and quot;okay.and quot; Despite this, I have been impressed with how quickly they have done the work or gotten back with a quote almost every time. They also have been significantly cheaper than other places every time. The front axles were quoted 550 somewhere else. My biggest complaint though was when we took my husband's car to get his catalytic converter replaced. I had been quoted and quot;a few hundred bucksand quot; previously and although I didn't quite know what that meant, I knew they would probably be cheaper than other places based on previous work. He also needed an oil change and air in his tires. My husbands dropped the car off on Monday, Wednesday, Mark called to say they don't do exhaust work and the car was ready to be picked up without doing the oil change or tires. I was surprised considering I had already been given a rough estimate for work they apparently don't even do. It worked out alright in end though for the converter because he recommended a place that got us in that same day to do the work in less than 24 hours. We took it somewhere else for the oil change and tires.

We had a noise in the brake system and were unsure whether it was a normal noise or signs of wear. Brakes were inspected and we were informed that absolutely nothing is wrong with the brakes........thanks for the honesty! The A/C belt squealed at start-up if the A/C was on and this was also checked. Nothing needed but a simple belt tightening. Again, thanks for the honesty! Finally, they changed the oil. Not only were they honest, but they were very pleasant and frankly enjoyable to be around. Nice place and I have finally found a mechanic to use that I feel I can trust.

Have had problems with A/C for several months. Took car to another mechanic they failed to identify problem. Took car to Superior Auto. Mark placed dye in engine. Had me drive car for several days. Dye location in the car enabled Mark to identify problem. Mark then ordered hose from dealer and replaced broken hose. I now have a cold A/C that really works!

They were very professional and the leak was fixed. The cost of the repair work was very reasonable. There was a small glitch, but they took care of it immediately. I will most certainly use them from now on the take care of my pickup.

They were phenomenal. They were straight forward. The price was wonderful. They are very knowledgeable. As I'm describing the problem and he had a smirk on his face like he knew I was talking about. He didn't try to screw up or anything.

I have been going to Superior Automotive since 1993. Mark Vuletti, the owner, is a trusted friend. Over the course of the last 20 years he has worked on five of my vehicles and my parents' 1996 Ford sedan. He understands the critical nature of a person with one daily driver and moves that individual to the front of the priority line. When a woman ABSOLUTELY trusts a mechanic, then that individual is indeed, trustworthy. Mark is not patronizing or demeaning to ANY customer regardless of their s**. While other independent repair shops have floundered or closed due to lack of business, Superior Automotive is the busiest shop in town as reported by the tool distributors (e.g. Matco, Snap-On, etc.) that circle the city weekly. Even the dealerships are not doing the repair business that Superior is doing because his labor rates are EXTREMELY reasonable. I have owned three brand new Chevy pick-ups and have never taken them anywhere for service or repairs BUT Superior Automotive (manufacturer recalls are the exception). Mark's employees are extremely knowledgeable with collective experience exceeding 50 years. I won't take my vehicle anywhere else.

As always, service was excellent and the service cost was less than I expected compared to dealership charges.

They're very nice there and I'm glad I found them. They're always honest and have reasonable rates.

Superior Auomotive ran an analysis on my car, found the problem, called me with the estimate and with my approval, went ahead and fixed it. It had been running rough and stalling, they said it needed a master air cylinder (?). Now it runs great! I feel that Superior Automative is honest, was very nice in dealing with me, and did an excellent job. I would recommend them, and use them again.

The owner and his employees were very friendly. I am very glad I found this auto repair shop on Angie's List. After my negative experience with three other shops in Tucson, I was hesitant to go to this auto repair shop. I found that at this shop it did not matter if I walked in alone a single female. They treated me with respect, honesty and did a great job on my brakes. I definately plan to visit this shop again! Even the people in the waiting area had nothing but praise for this auto repair shop!

Their service was great, found the problem and fixed it. Charges were more reasonable than I could have ever expected. They will take care of all my cars in the future

I have been going to Mark and his crew for over ten years now. He's done EXCELLENT work at a fair price and he may be the fastest mechanic I've ever seen! I hear stories about people that lose their vehicle for weeks at a time but they have never needed more that a couple of days regardless of how involved the repair was. For one thing Mark is perhaps the most honest mechanic I've ever dealt with. When you call he will tell you how soon he can get to your car which allows you to bring it in to him on the day he starts work on it. He has refused work from me a couple of times only to tell me how to do it myself because the repairs were simple and fairly easily managed. It doesn't get more honest than that! He completed the work earlier than he originally quoted and for exactly the quoted price. Finally, as he found anything he thought needed repaired/replaced (like the filters) he called and got authorization from me to do those repairs.

All went well.

I went to Mark based on the recommendation of friends. It's the kind of auto shop you knew about back home and if you are new to the area, you'll never know about unless it's recommended. Labor is seem to be based on the tick of the clock instead of some book. That means you don't get charged for the labor twice when work is done in the same area. I had work needed on a couple of vehicles and had them done at the same time. Most of the work on my antique Ford pickup was restorative and the other a tune up on my current pickup. My comment to Mark on the work done on my antique was "How can you make a living charging that price." The tune up on my current pickup was significantly less than the price quoted by the dealership. The business has relocated to 8101 E Research Ct # 107, Tucson, AZ 85710. The phone hasn't changed.

THEY ARE VERY DIRECT AND VERY TIMELY WHEN DOING THEIR WORK. THIS COMPANY IS VERY HONEST AND RELIABLE. THEY ARE EVEN NICE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. WE CAN ALWAYS RELY ON A JOB WELL DONE.
