STARK FENCING

Work was done appropriately. Quality of wood appeared less than the best. Planks were secured to posts with nails, which bowed and cracked. Contacted Will who came out within a week and agreed to replace two planks. “call me in two weeks” he said. I did. He put me off another two weeks, then another two weeks, and so on, brushing me off for two weeks at a time, hoping I’d go away. Sadly, for Will, that’s not how I work. After months of being put off, he finally sent a crew to do the repair. Won’t be using this company again.

They came out the day after I called to give and estimate. Within a week they came out and tore down the old wood fence, hauled it away and installed the chain link fence. That took two days. It took one more day to install the privacy slats. They also readjusted my gate so it would open and close easier. The workers were very nice, polite and professional. I would recommend them to everyone. I am very happy and would use them again

Representative from Stark fence came out and gave an estimate tp replace an old wooden gate with a new (36" wide x approx. 54" high) redwood gate. The representative was on time. The estimate was comparable to others I had received. I paid a down payment and scheduled the work. The company sent two men who built the gate on the premises. Upon inspection, I noticed that the wood used was not the greatest quality. I insisted that one slat be replaced because it was very bad. The Stark employee grumbled about having to remove the piece but he did replace it. A piece of the frame part also appears to be "seconds" and I would have preferred an undamaged piece off wood have been used. When I arranged for the work I had assumed that the gate would be built with higher quality wood. The installation was also unusual as to placement of slats where the hardware meets the wall. Rather than shortening the slats to match the existing wood they were left the height of the gate. It gives the gate the appearance of a fairly wide gap at the closure. The hardware installation was fine and the quality of the hardware seems fine and has held up well.

The workmanship was good and they even hauled away our old fencing.

THEY DID A REALLY AWESOME JOB. MY FAMILY IS SO PLEASED. NOW WE CAN LET THE KIDS RUN IN THE BACK YARD WITH SOME PIECE OF MIND. THIS COMPANY WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH.

I LIKE THE FACT THEY CAME OUT AND GAVE ME A FREE ESTIMATE ON HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST ME TO PUT UP A FENCE. THAT WAS A SELLING POINT FOR ME, AND I HAD THEM DO MY FENCE. I REALLY LIKE THE SERVICE THEY GIVE.
