They were excellent, and the door exceeds our expectations.  I'd use them again and I recommend them to anyone who needs a door or gate installed.

The work was done on time and went well except for one problem. Our side gate no longer opens out. We complained about this at the time the gate was reinstalled, but the company would not fix it. It didn't seem like a big problem until we started to build a pool. Pima County requires the gate to open outward. When we called about getting an estimate to upgrade to county requirements for our pool, we asked that the gate be fixed to the original way it opened. All we got was an argument about how complicated this was and could not be done. I would not recommend them as they obviously do not stand by their work.

Subsequent companies have come to bid on fixing my side doors. They all agreed that the fixtures on the door were removed to have the doors open inward, rather than out. It is now costing me a great deal of money to reverse this. I also learned that the powder coating was done too fine, which is why there is already rusting.

There were soo many different vendors but we wanted to make the right decision and we did. WHile cost was a bit more, the difference in what we got in terms of service and product was amazing. OUr neighbors opted for a different company and wish they didnt when they saw ours.
Every little detail was top notch.
My only regret is we dont have more doors

Let me start by saying I'm very hard to please. Able did an excellent job! He actually showed up on time unlike any other contractor now-a-days. Their prices may be higher than the competition, but so is their quality and service! The extra price is well worth it. Able was very patient and creative. I wanted a contraption that would and quot;secureand quot; my doggie door. You should see what we came up with! It's absolutely amazing! I think it would definitely frustrate a would be robber and allow them to move on. I would absolutely recommend Southwest Iron!

The work was great I liked everything about it. I gave them a verbal description on what I wanted and they were able to do exactly what I wanted. I have recommended them quite a bit to other people. I would give them A's across the board. I would use them again if I need to.

No problems ordering the doors. Due to a backlog of orders, the doors weren't ready until 2 weeks after our initial delivery date. No problems with the install or the product quality.

I met Abel at a Sabha show and asked if they refinish security doors. He came to my home to give me a free estimate and show me samples and colors. I was so delighted at his easy going manner and low pressure approach that I decided to have his company construct a replacement patio gate as well. After choosing colors and deciding on a design for the gate all I had to do was get HOA approval and wait for installation. When the doors arrived, I was delighted with the beefy construction of the gate and the finish on the security door as well. Abel answered all of my many questions about rigidity, design, lockset placement, etc. The installer was fast, knowledgeable and patient waiting for one piece of the gate still in the hands of the powder coating company. He stayed and checked in with the pc company until he finally received that section and finished the job. Looks great and my neighbors said it looked fabulous!
I certainly would recommend them.

Abel Cruz and his company did a fantastic job on our very large custom security screen door for our front door! They are a great company to work with...very polite...and very professional!! They also re-finished/powder-coated our 6 old rusted exterior light fixture/cover/scones to match the door. Everything looks great!!!

There was some confusion about whether the lock would be re-keyed for free. The installer tried to charge extra onsite during the install. The business owner was contacted and he corrected the situation (the re-key was included in the original contract). It would still be a better business practice to rekey free of charge for project costing $2000+ without hassling the client.
