Simutek is southern Arizona's first Apple Specialist, and we've been serving our community since 1980. Our Apple Certified Technicians will keep your Mac running smoothly, and our sales, triage, troubleshooting, and training teams will help you get the most out of your Apple computer. Mac Book Pro 2009 & iMac 2012 edition needed repairing. I worked with Jack & learned it would be more expensive to fixe than they were worth. Jack was able to back up my super important files on an external Hard Drive and saved me a ton of heart ache. I truly appreciate the honesty and professionalism. I will be purchasing my next iMac from Simutek

I am very satisfied with the service and pricing that I received. I've visited Simultek twice in the last month. First, my new iPhone locked me out after an overnight download of some kind and I couldn't get in. Two weeks later I took my Mac in to have it diagnosed and they gave me a very clear and honest assessment of the problems. My Mac is aging out, just like myself! They also ran a couple of programs and cleaned off a bunch of Maleware. The old girl is running better and I think I bought myself a little time to save for a new computer. The staff here is well-trained. They know their stuff and don't "mansplain" to an old lady. Will Return.

I downloaded a file from a trusted friend who later I found out his email was compromised. I called Simutek who told me to bring my computer into the store. I tried to pack my iMac into its box but was not strong enough to fit it in. I will be 80 years old in a couple months. But, I took my case in order to protect it thinking someone might help me. When I got to the store a representative came up to my car and I told him the information. He seemed to be in a flat, dour mood and not very helpful. I asked him to help me put it in its box but he said they did not have enough room inside the store. Before I left I noticed another representative carrying out an iMAC it its box to the customer's car. I do want to add that a very nice guy called me when I was on my way home to assess the situation with my computer. I felt it was in good hands. The next morning I spoke with Jack who told me that I could come to the store to pick up my iMAC. I drove to the store and the same guy waited on me as the day before. His attitude was not very nice. He told me the cost and I gave him my credit card. He later came out with what I thought was my iMAC and put it on the floor in back of me. I said something to him but he ignored me and went to another car. Finally, I had to keep calling him to tell him he did not return my credit card which he then retrieved. As I was driving home, every time I stopped my monitor would bang against my back seat. I stopped in a safe place to put my iMAC on my back seat. It was then I noticed that it was a yellowish color and the screen was filthy. Also, there were yellow, dirty, smelly dust balls on the bottom of the intake screen. I noticed the stand was covered in a dirty dust also. I am a non smoker and my computer is always spotlessly clean. I called the store and a woman answered and since I was halfway of a long way home, I told her my concerns. There was no number on the computer or on my receipt. I took it back to the store and the same woman took my computer. She came back in a few minutes with my real computer and a new receipt. She told me that it was my iMAC. I noticed this iMAC had a spotless screen with only finger marks on top and it was very clean like I kept it. I felt that this lady lied to me although I cannot prove it. I did email the store and told them what happened but they never answered me. Since this store is the only one in Tucson who handles Apple products I would have to take my computer there again to be serviced. I have mixed feelings regarding this. I do have to say in all fairness that I had a hard drive replaced in my old computer and they did an outstanding job. I realize everyone is stressed because of the corona virus. Why was common decency and honesty replaced in my situation?

Simutek went above and beyond. When they removed the failed battery they noticed a problem that went beyond the battery. They weren't sure of the reason before they tore it apart, but said that whatever it was they would repair at no cost to me, just in case they could have caused the problem. They put in an entirely new logic board in addition to the new battery, at no cost to me. And this was all same-day service. A special shout-out to Kate who was such an attentive sales/service associate, and to the technician who did the work. I'm a big fan of Simutek!

I was the one who had a bad experience with a Simutek employee and wrote a negative review Sept. 15 expressing my disappointment, frustration and anger. Altough I kept hearing good things about the outfit there was no way I was going back into that store to stress over a rude employee--it's a small shop to avoid anyone. But I was in dire need of assistance with my vintage computer and a couple external hard drives going down and even the Apple store pointed me there so I gingerly called up to scout it out. Didn't take long to find out the offending staff member was no longer with the company for just the behavior I encountered. It's a whole different place without the bad seed and I'm just sorry I had to cross his path to throw me off. These guys (and Martha) are all great--very helpful, above and beyond. I would recommend Simutek to anyone else in the market for a Mac. The Apple Mother Ship up the road is a pretty busy place so it's nice to walk into Simutek and talk to real folks without an appointment and a big, hectic crowd. I will certainly do business there again as my go-to Mac experts.

They are awesome. We originally took the computer to the store and they were going to charge $1000 so we ended up going down to Simutek. Part of the problem with the laptop was under warrantee and the technician knew that it had been recalled. He fought with Apple to make them pay for it so he got the laptop fixed for free. It took about two weeks sending the laptop back and forth. My son puts music and things on his computer and they made sure that no files would be lost. He got another repair done on the disc drive that Apple wanted to charge $390 and they only charged $280. Instead of $1000 to have everything fixed, I walked out of the store having paid $280. I was so impressed that I ended up buying an iPad through Simutek. They called me up when it came in and they stayed open late for me because it was my birthday. You don’t find many people like that. I told everyone I know about the business. They are a small business and they sell all of the Apple products.
