S & N Tile Company

It took them 3 days and with all the workers that were here. They were right on time , cleaned as they went. Very respectful. I had used them back in 2016 and loved the work they did then. We love our new tile and have had lots of compliments. i will recommend them to all who need tiling done.

Was contacted by Sal ( he was subcontracted by another company) and he stopped over, and we covered the problems discovered. He was very unhappy contractors would do this poor work of not-water sealing showers, and not even constructing them correct. He then left and contacted me again to ask what day to return? The deal was for his team to prep the shower for myself to tile (save cost). We scheduled the return and his son + others arrived on-time and did the job in 6 hours. Install missing ptrap, install drain, install hardyback, redgaurd, floor mud and liner. He took his team off an upscale hotel job to address this and get it done. Not many contractors out there have a passion like he does.

Excellent tile contractor. Sal and his son were responsive and did a great job. I would hire them again for future tile work.

I was happy about timeliness- He quickly came out for the estimate and scheduled the work the very next day. They did a great job at matching the orange hued tiles in the family room with the original red tiles in the foyer, even though it took several coats of stain. They also did a good job at the glazing throughout the house. They cleaned up and put back the furniture later. Some of the tiles I thought were going to be fixed couldn't be after all because of the wear and there was no availability for replacement tiles of that size. However, the coloring and gloss make it less noticeable. The main issue I had was with the price. I thought that $2,370. was excessive for 2 men for one day's labor and 1 - 2 hours of the owner's. The material costs, since tile was not replaced, was limited to the coatings, cleaners, and rags. Overall I am happy about the improved continuity of the tile throughout the house, and the bright glazing.

Great, They finished in just 4 days working through the July heat from 5:30am to 1:30pm every day. It looks beautiful and they did a good job cleaning up and putting everything back.

Sal responded to a request for an estimate.  He was prompt and very helpful.  We hired him to remove the tile in several rooms to allow us to do a complete remodel of our kitchen.  His crew was quick and did an excellent job.  Sal continues to assist us with making a decision on what new flooring we want for the entire house and we will be using him when we finally get our minds made up.  He replaced the tile in the entire first floor of my daughters home  which is next door and it looks beautiful.  He will be starting on our project this spring and I look forward to completion of floors and back-splash and will update this review upon completion.  I have no doubt what-so-ever that the work will be great.  Sal cares about his customers and that is a thing that I will always respect and admire.

It went very well! They did an awesome job!They were all very professional and very nice. I would recommend them anytime and will use them again. They were on time and cleaned up after themselves. They were very friendly!

Gave us an estimate or 7 to 10 days to complete the work.  They finished in 5 days.  On time; cleaned up every day; hung plastic to reduce the amount of dust during demo phase.  Very satisfied with all aspects of the work performed and the lads who did the work.

I chose the tile then S&N picked up the tile for me. I changed the pattern I wanted the tile to be set in at the last minute and they made the change without extra charge. No loose tiles after almost 2 years.

I cannot say enough good things about S & N tile to really do justice.  Sal and his crew are great.  They work fast, showing up on time and cleaning up when finished.  We were in the middle of remodeling a complete kitchen and he was very helpful and agreed to work with us, giving us time to install the new kitchen and waiting until we were ready to complete the job by installing tile.  Our daughter who lives next door used S & N for her complete tile replacement and it looks great.  We decided to expand our project and will be having S & N install 3 additional rooms and back-splash as soon as we can settle on the choice of tile we will be using.  You cannot find a better company for friendly, helpful and good quality work.  I will send an updated review when the project is completed.

Sal and his team were outstanding.  They promised a date in the near future, but then came even earlier in between other jobs.  They did an excellent job in short order, including a couple of additional items involving replacing some floor tiles in two small areas in other parts of the house.  They were so  committed to getting this job done they even worked on Saturday the fourth of July to  get it  finished.  We would gladly use Sal again if the opportunity came up.

Sal Aguirre and his crew are fast and professional. They arrive with a large crew and get right to work. This is the second time i have used them and they did great work both times. Sal even negotiated a better price for the tile i was purchasing from the tile retailer. This time they installed approximately 1800 sq feet of tile. It looks great and they worked quickly. You can find people who will work for a lower price but the quality and speed make S & N well worth the cost. There was no nickle and diming, added fees or attempts to go above the estimate.

Great company. The owner, Sal, was at the job site daily. He was very easy to work with on all aspects of the installation. He had THREE teams working the first week in our home so he could finish the job in the time he quoted. His price was not the cheapest bid, but his work and portfolio of work speaks for itself. You may be able to find cheaper tile setting work but won't find better in Tucson. Our home involved many radius walls and diagonal tile setting. Sizes varied from glass mosaic to 6x24 and 12x24 tile all the way up to 24x24 tile. Several times tiles were set, and replaced after they didn't meet the quality standard Sal sets for his work. Additionally, our home does not have base molding so the tile along all the walls had to be set and grouted to perfection to avoid that unfinished look. These guys did it.  Bravo! I would use S&N Tile again in a second and wouldn't regret spending a few extra dollars for this quality of workmanship. A+

I first used S&N back in 2006 and then again in 2011. Each time the experience was just wonderful. Sal, the owner, and his people descended on our house, each person setting to a task (snapping chalk lines, mixing thin set, setting up a tile saw etc.) like ants. By the end of the day, the job was done in each case. We have had no problem with the job and on the second visit, a tile we had broken, was fixed at no charge! I cannot speak highly enough for the quality of work, competence of the crew and how they stand behind their work.

Lots of projects- always on time and do what they say they will. Fair prices too!

Sal is the absolute professional.  I received his referral from a general contractor who said he was a "perfectionist."  My bathroom remodel from a different contractor turned out crooked, pitched and uneven floor tiling.  I was referred to Sal as someone who could fix any tiling problem, so I hired him to fix the previous contractors job.
I am very happy with my new bathroom floors!  The tiles were very small, the cuts made were perfect.  The room is not a perfect square (the house is very old), but these guys made it look like it is by creating an optical illusion of perfect symmetry with the tile.  This was an impressive feat!  They were always prompt as well.  Ordering the tile took a few weeks and Sal checked in with me every few days.  I appreciated this because it demonstrated he had not forgot about the bid.  His sons did a lot of the work, and they were very professional and skilled.  They worked hard to complete the job on time and gave it the extra mile when it came to making sure it was done right the first time.  They also treated me very respectfully, which is rare in the contracting industry (I am a female living alone.)  Sal was always friendly and professional when he checked in on the job and his sons were diligent and completely focused on the job.
I am bringing Sal back to do a back splash, a fireplace, and another bathroom.  I would refer him to anyone with total confidence.
