We have always provided comprehensive heating and air conditioning for residential new construction. I called this company an 05/16/2024 because my AC failed, they checked the AC and informed me on the phone that the fan stopped and we need to replace fan and capacitor. They charge me $430.00 but they only changed my capacitor, a couple of hours later my AC failed again and I called them back, they informed me that i need to replace the motor, I told them that I was thought the fan was just installed, they informed me that only the capacitor was replaced, they charged me an additional $422 dollars including a discount for having to come a 2nd time for the same problem. The next day I talked to the Manager and he offered to refund a few few dollars, I was very upset and he agreed to reimburse $342.00 for the parts only I end up paying $510.00 for a fan motor and a capacitor. The first technician was very dishonest and took advantage that i was not in the house to charge me $430 for a capacitor. I don't trust this company, check parts cost online to see if they are being fair to you and check that they really install the new parts before they leave. The manager should remove the entire cost of the firs visit since they really abuse of me. If possible use a different company.

"Regarding the service call performed on 5/16/2024 at [Member Information Removed] North [Member Information Removed] The first technician for the diagnostic call found a defective fan/compressor capacitor. Our technician contacted the homeowner ([Member Name Removed] with a price on replacing the capacitor at the price of $342.00. The customer agreed on the repair [Member Information Removed] our technician proceeded to replace the defective part [Member Information Removed] check the operations of the system with the outdoor motor operational. Later that same evening the customer called indicating that the HVAC system was not working again. We dispatched another technician to find out why the system was not working. The second technician found a defective outdoor fan motor. Our technician called the customer informing the customer of the defective outdoor motor [Member Information Removed] the cost of replacement at a discounted rate of $422.00 from the original price of $765.00 for the inconvenience. The customer approved the replacement of the outdoor fan motor. The customer spoke with our service manager [Member Information Removed] voiced his concerns about his bill. Our service manager was able to reimburse the customer on the cost of the fan/motor capacitor (-$342.00) for the inconvenience. The homeowner did agree the reimbursement [Member Information Removed] discounted service was fair at that point with the customer only paying for the fair amount of $510.00 total for the job completed. We do feel like we were fair [Member Information Removed] just in agreement on the work performed for our customer."

Hired to get furnace fixed. Wife said they spent 20 minutes and 80$ to inform me it was the circuit board and quoted 700$ to repair. I was out of town so told them to hold off. Came home and took a look myself. Did a few simple checks, ended up being a bad limiter switch which is 11$. Russet tech was either lying or doesnt know how to troubleshoot a furnace. Stay far away from this company.

It went horrible. I will never use this service again! All they wanted was the money. When we were not happy with the technician’s attitude, we decided not to have the unit repaired. Then all he wanted was the service fee money.... Called the supervisor and nothing was resolved. He made it seem like we the customer was wrong. So, we are out of 74$ and bad service.

This crew had to deal with bees, two rattlesnakes, javelina, poisonous spiders and 5 noisy dogs. Yes I kept the dogs out of the way most of the time. This crew went above and beyond and just dealt with everything as it occurred and still had my new system in and running by noon. Thank you so much!

The whole process went very well. The estimator Cody came out on Friday and told me what a new system would cost. I felt the price was fair and asked when his team could install a new system. They were able to come out on Monday. In the interim I was provided a room air conditioner that helped for the three days without A?C. The install team ( Danny and Renee) arrived on time on Monday. They answered all my questions throughput the installation process. Very professional and definitely courteous.

Jesus, the Tech came out and "listened" to what was going on and did a systemic check of the system verifying all aspects of the potential cooling, or lack there off, problem. He eventually came back to the main unit and by-pasted the overflow sensor and the system came on. He replaced the sensor and that has been two weeks and everything is working. As I graded as a'B' was the price of parts. Fully understand a companies profit margin but this part replacement was way too high.

Whereas the owner of Russett Southwest Corporation; Jim Baldwin has not been responsive to any of my last three emails and in fact will not respond to anything in writing. He only got involved once through this whole mess and that was over the phone in which he called me to tell me he was not going to do what Cody Chadwick (My Salesman) told me they were going to do to resolve the issue, and proceeded to tell me the most he would do and that was it. Very rude and somewhat arrogant about it as you may read from other reviews. Also during this whole time, not once did anyone offer to come out and look at the poor workmanship of the job. I sent 12 pictures in hopes someone would actually care to see what kind of work there service techs are performing for the company/customers, but management, the sales staff, nor the owner seem to care about their quality. The system by far is not operating to peak efficiency on AC in which that is all I have used at this point being it was just installed 07/18/2017, and the ground level return air duct made out of about 10 pieces of 1” duct board, duct tape and duct seal is a safety hazard whereas this is a natural gas furnace and all the equipment is supposed to be 18” off the floor/ground, and it originally was until they modified the return duct into the furnace/AC Blower system with this new install. This is for sure a safety hazard and not to code. The other issue is even after coming out a second time with the same two techs, the quality is not nearly what it was on the system they replaced, and the return duct below the equipment deck has leaks, and my old system did not. So since Mr. Jim Baldwin does not actually want to make this install right on the new Lennox System, I would like a refund on the two year service contract that was included in the package price of $433.00 where as I do not want to have anything to do with Russett Southwest Corp. ever again and would not ever recommend them to anyone. Ultimately, I would really like this system fixed properly, but that does not seem to be an option with Mr. Jim Baldwin who simply just does not seem to care about taking care of his customers and or business anymore.

After the system was installed and working it took about 4 weeks to have a service person come out to finish the job. This response is the only problem so far.
