When I had questions or issues that I needed to have resolved regarding the proposal I got a quick and clear response. The owner was willing to explain in detail what they would do and how they would do the work.
They were able to start work promptly (no problems scheduling for a reasonable date to start) and they were on time every day.
Each day work was completed leaving the roof in a safe condition and water tight. Each day everything was cleaned up nicely. Some materials were left on site overnight with my permission, but they were all cleared up and out of the way.
The quality of materials used and the quality of the work met or exceeded my expectations and were better than I had seen done by previous roofers.
The roofs were completed in four days and about an hour of the fifth day (I was told to expect it to take all week).
As an extra bonus, workers did not have music playing all day (I was expecting this and wasn't going to complain, but I think it shows extra consideration for the customer that you frequently don't find from construction crews).
This was not the lowest bid I got, but I will still give them full marks for price given the quality of the work. All work was done for the original quoted price with no added charges.
