Rod's Concrete Works

Rod's Concrete team did an outstanding job.  They arrived on time and dealt with all aspects of this job with professionalism  Turns out more fill was needed that first estimated.  Rod said the ramps for driving in and out of the shed needed to be longer as there was an additional rise when going in and out of the building than originally thought.  He suggested the steepest ramp be lengthened from 4 X 10 to 10 X 10 Ft.  The other ramp from 4 X 10 to 6 X 10 Ft.  Rod only charged for the additional concrete ($250) bringing the total price to $9925.  Preparation began on December 2 and was finished on December 11, 2015.  All Re Bar was supported so it was within the concrete, not on the ground.  When any Re Bar appeared to be bent down it was held up to be in the concrete as it was poured.  It took four (4) cement mixers to bring all 34½ yards of concrete.  The final surface was flat and beautifully done.  We are in a remote location and need to haul our water on site as we have no well.  Rod and his crew helped install piping that would run water lines in the soil under the slab to move hauled water from a standing tank and future rainwater roof collection tanks.  This he did at no additional charge.
