The staff is very knowledgeable and has a good selection of healthy specimens from which to choose.  I am very pleased with  the service provided both at the nursery and at my home with the delivery and planting.  A very top-notch organization!

They were very knowledgeable, prompt, were very helpful and informative in making decisions and getting familiarized with the new irrigation system. We were very happy with all the work they did. The planter was very knowledgeable on all the shrubs and flowers and how they all worked together to fit out plan.

I think they're very knowledgeable about the plants that the sell, everything that they sell is very healthy and they have a good selection and they're conveniently located.

I've purchased plants and trees from this nursery for many years and have always been happy with the quality and health of their nursery stock.  I've used their delivery and planting service for my front yard landscaping and have received many compliments and "best front landscaping in the community kudos.  I'm also an organic herb and veggie gardener and this is a very reliable local "go-to" place for anyone with similar interests.  Most importantly, unlike the big box garden stores, this nursery stocks veggies in the season to plant them in Tucson.  The biggest cause of failing veggie gardens in Tucson is that the planting schedule here is different than in other parts of the country.
My citrus trees were expensive but they were properly planted and are thriving.  Not so with neighbors' trees from big box nurseries.

Dave the co-owner of the nursery lead the staff on all days on site. Showed up every morning at 8 to go over the day's work with me. Provided advice on trellis heights and boulder placements as well as irrigation system timing and programming. I di change or adjust multiple things on the fly and he and his crew were very accommodating. The charges for the change orders were in line with the scope of the work and not excessive. At the end of every day the job site was left clean and tidy and in the 3 weeks since the bulk of the work was done I have not had any problems with any of the plants despite several days at or near 100deg.
Jan the designer was easy to work with, prepared in some cases a couple of ideas of how the landscaping could go and on the day the plants were delivered refused a couple as they weren't quite to her quality standards, so replacements were brought the next day.
Beth the other co-owner is well organized around  the scheduling and the payments, so overall I couldn't have asked for a friendlier or more professional experience. Would definitely recommend and use again.

We had photographs of plants we like and the personnel at the nursery suggested the best combinations and locations for the plants. The plants purchased were fresh and have grown beautifully.

They did good work and the landscape designer was very good too.

Having moved into a home with a rather challenging steep driveway and drop-off, we decided several trees along the drive would provide a critical visual reference for visitors and vendors -- and us! We visited several nurseries, but when we walked into Rillito Nursery, we received immediate professional and friendly attention and guidance. We walked out having purchased five trees, five shrubs, and a delivery/planting date just two days later. When the delivery was made, the workers were extremely professional and had the job done in just a couple of hours. They were courteous and interested in our satisfaction. We will go to Rillito first for future garden/landscaping needs!

(JOB 1)The most knowledgeable nursery professionals I've found in Tucson. They steered me away from expensive, but "inappropriate for my space" plants. Made sure I had all the required amendments to hasten bloom and lengthen lifespan of the plants. Were very free with advice (both botanical and aesthetic), and were also able to let me browse alone and un-bothered for an hour. The staff is comprised of master gardeners and certified nursery personnel all eager to answer questions and carry heavy items to your car. (JOB 2) Well trained, helpful, friendly, chatty staff. Easy parking and clean well-organized display areas - plants planted in actual garden settings to show how they'd look at home. Just enough help to be useful without being pushy.
