Charged $25 for environmental clean up.
When we asked if we could drive the car without fixing the hose to a location a couple of miles away, the mechanic seemed angry. We could have replaced the hose ourselves but were given the impression that the engine would be destroyed by driving a couple of miles and went ahead and replaced it at Ramsowers.
When Carl, the previous owner was here, I loved the service and honesty but i would not go to Ramsowers again under the new ownership.

"There is no description of work performed because there was in fact no work performed. This customer's vehicle was abandoned on the lot several months ago due to antilock brake system failure; and was sold to a salvage yard at the customer's request. The customer was paid for the vehicle in full and a notarized title was given to us to complete the transaction. What, indeed, is the source of his complaint?"

I went down and I thought I had a blown head gasket and they confirmed over the phone that it sounded to them like a blown head gasket. When I got the car back that was 14 dollars and it was just a little around the carborator that they had to replace. It took care of the whole problem. They could have easily given me a head gasket job and charge me 350 and I would not have known any difference.

For years, I had a 1962 Cadilaac, and he was the only person I would let touch it. I have other vehicles that he si the only persona I use for. His service is excellent! If I call him from the highway, he tells me exactly what to tell the tow truck driver, and he is always right!
