Workers arrived the next day to install the roof. Company cuts corners to save money and reuses broken tile instead of replacing. They also install new paper over existing paper to cut down on labor. Had to call them back numerous times because they have no one that inspects work. They are very responsive but they still suck. Broken tiles including new ones that were installed and they refuse to replace them. I will never use these guys again. I knew they wouldn't be great because they are so much cheaper than the competition, but you get what you pay for...

Rafael came out to give an estimate on a leak around our skylight and saw a crack in our skylight so in addition to fixing the leak he replaced the skylight. We had a double dome originally and he gave us a single.  So I called and the next day they put in another dome.
The interior walls had bad shadings and the skylight itself did not look right with different shadings and shadowing. Called again and asked for Rafael to come out and look at the problem, which he did promptly. He  said it was perfectly normal and everything was fine. I told him I was going to have to do something about it. He left. I called the next day to find out where to purchase a double dome and he told me where and to put it under his name for the discount.
New roofers came out 3 days later : the first gasket had not been cut to fit and so each corner was 1 1/2 in too long. There was no gasket between the 1st  and 2nd dome so they had slipped and part of the 2nd dome was not securely wedged under the frame. A good install would have used screws and not nails. Both of the domes were dirty, one handprint, fingerprints, misc bits of debris.
There was a tile that had been replaced and the wrong tile and color had been used so it had been cemented in to keep it in place. It seems there should have been a 3 year warranty on the fixed leak but no warranty was given (I did not know that is something usually given by roofers). I was so glad Rafael was not willing to try to fix the problem or none of the shoddy work would have been discovered.

Several people in our area had used them and even the insurance rep that I was dealing with said that they were pretty good, so.

They do good work and they were very responsive. They did a really good job, cleaned up everything, and their price compared to others was probably twenty percent lower.

This company put our roof on back in 2004, so naturally I wanted to get an estimate from them as we liked them the first time. Dave came out and inspected the area where the leak was, as well as the rest of the roof. He found the problem area and fixed it on the spot. When he came back down and I asked him the charge, he said and quot;no charge, we just hope you think of us next time down the road when you need a new white roof coating or when the time comes, a new roof.and quot; I have to say, my jaw dropped - because just two days earlier I had been quoted $2000 from another company to and quot;fix the leak.and quot; Oh, and by the way, the no-cost leak repair worked! After two days of torrential downpour, no drips were spotted. I sincerely appreciate Dave and Rafael Tovar Roofing for their honesty and customer service. I guarantee I will be calling them in the future!

We were very happy with this company and the work that was done. The staff was very professional and they did not leave any mess. They got out here quickly for an estimate and started on the roof almost immediately.

The owner arrived to my house the day after inquire and was on the job the very next day. Very quick turn around. Clean up could have been a bit more thorough, there were a lot of tacking nails and ciggarette butts left behind, but overall the service was good. I had to call twice to get the waranty, which wasn't a big deal but made me a bit nervous since the money was already paid. The entire roof was stripped and shingled and completed in 2 days. Overall, I was satisfied with the service and job rendered.

They estimated the cost of finding and repairing the roof leak. They arrived on schedule and worked quickly and were finished within the estimate time and cost estimate. They were attentive to details (color match of replacement tiles and end caps). They cleaned up the work area and disposed of all debris.

They came on time and got to work promptly. I enjoyed a friendly dialogue with them and they clearly enjoyed what they did. Unfortunately I had to call them back several times as it leaked onto my patio but they responded very quickly. In the end to ensure no more problems they actually removed an entire side of my roof and re-did the whole thing and it didn't cost me a dime. Way more than I expected. They bent over back wards to please me.

THEY DIDN'T DO THAT GREAT OF WORK. IT SEEMS TO ME THEY WERE IN A HURRY TO GET DONE. THEY HAVE TO REPAIR THE LEAK THE ROOF DEVELOPED AFTER THEY REPLACED IT. I DON'T KNOW IF I WOULD REHIRE THEM.

WE WERE PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK, IT TOOK LONGER TO DO BECAUSE OF WIND AND RAIN STORMS IN THE AREA. THEY WERE GREAT TO HAUL THE OLD SHINGLES AWAY, AND THEY CLEANED UP NICELY WHEN DONE.
