Pro Service Landscape

Living on the side of a hill, erosion is always a concern. The previous owners of our house had not maintained it for many years and the erosion was becoming a problem. Of the landscaping companies that I interviewed, Andrew had the best ideas. He understood that surface water can't erode if it's removed from the surface. He suggested installing rain gutters joined to below ground drainage piping, replacing the lost dirt and armoring it against future rains with cover rock. The work was done in a timely and professional manner and looks great. After the project was done, Andrew walked through the results with me and made sure that I was happy with the job. I have no reservations with recommending him to anyone that has an erosion problem. The only thing to keep in mind is that all outdoor work is weather dependent, so be prepared to be flexible on timing. We were rescheduled once because of poor weather. Not a problem, just something to keep in mind.

Update July 2013: It seems that Andrew has become very busy with larger jobs. It has become very difficult to communicate with him. Phone calls and e-mails not being returned seems to be the norm now. While I understand that my jobs are small ones and are fitted in among the larger ones, it would be better for him to tell us up front that it may be weeks before he can get to our job rather than not communicating and hoping we go away. High quality work when you can get him but don't expect much communication.
