Preston's Bathtub Refinishing of Tucson

I had my kitchen sink refinished just under 2 years ago by this company, paid $325 for the job, and the owner, Alfonso told me it would NOT lift or peel, and that his mother's 10 year old sink redo still looked brand new. A few days ago I noticed itvwas lifting, cracking an peeling off from the bottom. When I called him he told me that " sinks don't last", refused to take any responsibility or make any concession, and told me it would cost well over 500 bucks for him to redo it because "everything had gone up do much because of Biden". An unethical, unprofessional and sleazy person and company. Avoid.

I couldn't have had a better job done, the tub looks new. I am so pleased with everything. The only visible sign they were there is the shiny new looking tub.

They left a sink with uneven surface and substance on the floor, and said that if I wanted it redone I should wait till early next year because they were really busy.

Poorly. Knocked off on of the tubs legs. Lot of Overspray on floor and walls. Large glob of reglaze on wall of tub. Large amount of tiny sharp particles left on tub floor and wall. Called them two days later to correct. They said I should do it myself. I mentioned that it was theirs to correct and if they did not, I would go to small claims court. That's when the person who did the reglazing began to throw F-Bombs. I could not get a word in edge wise, so I hung up. They go by different names so be careful. Poor, poor, poor.

Alfonso and his crew were prompt and professional, and came ready to go. They completed the work over the course of two days and it looks beautiful. It saved me a ton of money as both bathrooms had been badly abused and were in desperate need of cosmetic repair. One day the shower was dingy, brown-colored and icky and the tub/shower combo was disgusting, scratched, discolored and dirty and the next day both bathrooms looked like we had put in brand new fixtures. And Alfonso assured me that they stand behind their work and if we ever need a touch-up (like if a contractor drops a wrench!) to call and they will come out and fix it.

What a nightmare! Alfonso and his worker have been out here twice to try and correct a very poor resurfacing. Let me list the issues. The tub is rough in many areas and he came out once to attempt to fix. The caulk he used to repair his original poor caulk job at the seams is a gray color and does not match the other caulk. The tub is peeling at the overflow. The area around the tub stopper is lifting up. He came out one time to attempt to repair the issues and when he left and things had dried it was evident problems still existed. I still have the product that he used all over my bathroom because of an overspray. He quickly tried to clean it when he was back the second time but said he had another job to do and left me with the sand paper to do it myself! Despite promising to come back and addres the issues, he called and said I was too picky, (sounds like his standard line from other reviews) and he would charge me to address any of the remaining issues. Finally he said if I don't like the job, I should have the tub ripped out and replaced and my expense. His invoice says he is licensed and insured. He is not licensed and is not a member of the BBB. When he called me to tell me he decided not to come back and repair the issues he was actually swearing at me! I was totally shocked. I am hoping Angie's list can help with these issues and at a minimum make sure other unsuspecting people don't have to go through this terrible, unprofessional experience.

They were here when they said that they would be. The bathtub looks beautiful and I am glad that we had it done.

they were very responsive. was on time and came in and did the work. I have a few specks that I will probably call them back on when i have the time and have no doubt they will come right out. Great company!

Called for an appointment and they were able to schedule the job in very quickly. Arrived during the time specified and got right to work. Made sure everything was properly taped off. Estimated the job was going to last about two hours and was finished before that. Answered all my questions on the best way to clean the tub and to keep it looking new. They were very professional and came in and got the job done. Original tub in a 1950's house and it looks brand new. If you are thinking of having something refinished, call these guys. They did a tremendous job!

Alfonso was very punctual, hardworking, and friendly. He did great work and I will use him in the future for any other refinishing projects.

This is the 3rd time I have used Tub Tamer and I am happy with Alfonso's work. I have rental properties that are over 30 years old. What a difference it makes to have sinks and tubs that look new.
