Garbage Collection
Provider delivered initial roll-off bin as requested. After filling the first, we requested a second. The provider responded very quickly which was fortunate because we were paying others to do the demolition and they needed the second bin right away.
Since we were filling the bins with heavy concrete debris, the weight of the filled bins was an issue, and an unknown. We estimated the weight but our estimates fell short, and we overfilled the bins which incurred additional charges that were not insignificant. The cost for hauling away all the debris was far larger than we had anticipated, but it was consistent with the written contract and the other companies I contacted gave similar cost models. So I doubt I could have saved much, if any, by going with another provider.
