Pastime Suites

Description of Work: Pastime Suites Pastime Suites is a small vacation rental complex in Tucson, Arizona that offers a choice of one- or two-bedroom duplex units for days, weeks, months or multiple months. The owners, Cindy and Gregg Pfeifle, have selected the ideal location in Tucson that is close to everything. They have designed and built these units with attention to comfort, attractiveness and convenience. The duplex was immaculately clean, neatly landscaped and stocked with everything I might need - except food - to live there for a month. The area was safe and private and, in their efforts to continually improve the property, they were even in the process of installing a security gate. Cindy and Gregg are probably the best part of the rental. I rented for a month while I was looking for an apartment. I had some health issues, but Cindy helped me out upon move-in with fitting a water filter to their kitchen faucet and putting lifters under the two front legs of the bed. She and Gregg also brought in an extra bed so that my sister could stay for a few days and sightsee. Cindy has given me priceless information and advice about the area and treated me from the start as she would a valued friend while perfectly respecting my privacy when I did not need any help. When I did call for anything, they were both very responsive. For example, Cindy suggested stores and restaurants and told me where to find a post office and mailbox close by, to name a few things. She also clued me in on what to expect in various neighborhoods as I searched for a place to live. I felt totally secure there as a single, elderly woman, knowing that they were so accommodating in every way. The Pfeifles have big hearts and made special arrangements while I was there for another guest who was receiving cancer treatments so that he could extend his stay after his cancer surgery was rescheduled. They live their belief that we should all treat each other as we would want to be treated. Many of their guests come back year after year, and I can see why. I felt when I left that I had made my first friends in Tucson even before moving there, and I recommend them and Pastime Suites to anyone looking for an ideal place to stay at an affordable price.
