She called me on the first day like she had told me she would. She came in twice a day and not only fed the and cleaned their boxes but also played with the for a little while. Since I was gone on trash day, she put my cans out the night before and took them in the next morning. If I had needed it she also would have watered the plants and picked up my mail. Since I was only gone a few day, I did not need those serviced. When I returned, there was a progress report on the counter reporting on what was done each visit.

I contacted Nunn Better when I knew I would be making an emergency trip back East but I didn't know when. They set me up with an appointment and spent 1/2 an hour with me (at no charge) meeting the felines, learning about the house, getting instructions, and signing the contract. It turns out I needed them almost immediately. During a stressful time, it was nice to know that the cats were cared for. Liz called me after the first visit to let me know how things were. When we came home, there was a detailed list of each visit and the house was in great shape. The litter was not only scooped, but the litter areas had been swept. 
This was the first time in 30 years of cat ownership that I haven't come home to sulking cats. They came out greet us and may even have been a little disappointed that it was us and not Liz from Nunn Better. Their name suits them well.

This is a great service! Nunn Better came to our house once a day while we were out of town and took care of our two cats. They visited prior to our trip, met the pets and collected important information about the pets as well as contact information in case of a pet or house emergency. Nunn Better was very good about communicating with us during our trip and following up.
We've now used them twice and are very happy we did!

I have used Seneca's pet sitting services for about 12 years. Her company name has changed a couple of times but her service has always been outstanding and trustworthy. Her website is easy to use and allows the customer to enter and update information about one's pets. I like that payment can be made via Paypal.
Since I have 7 cats, I feel like I get great service during the sitter's one hour visit. Time is spent attending to their needs as well as giving them some playtime and affection. A detailed list of daily activities is left for the customer at the end of the visit. I don't like leaving my pets when I am on vacation, but I don't worry about them since I know they will be well cared for while I am gone.

Seneca Nunn and her staff have been our pet sitters for almost 6 years now. They are wonderful! Our dogs love, love , love them.
They always leave a note as to how the visit went, we have used them for mail pick up and watering plants when we are on vacation and also post surgery to help with the dogs. They have seen us thru the loss of 3 dogs and sale of our house and moving to a new one. One of our dogs is blind and he LOVES Seneca, I trust them with my most prized possesions: my fur kids. Try them, you wont be disappointed.

The service is good and I give them A's but they are expensive. I will use them again in the future.

I will never hire them or recommend them. Irresponsible behavior and no apology or follow up after it occurred. Even though I had discussed the use of a key fob to turn the alarm on & off at my home with the owner, and left the key fob for the sitter, I received a rather alarming call from the sitter the first evening that she'd had trouble with the key pad in the bedroom of my home & the alarm had gone off. She didn't ask for help, just kept repeating that there was a problem with my alarm. Obviously, she didn't even think to use the key fob in her possession. I called the owner & reminded her about the key fob. The owner was quite curt on the phone. The last visit from the sitter was Thursday afternoon and I returned approximately mid-day the next day. The sitter hadn't used the key provided to lock the dead bolt on my door, she had just locked the door knob. However...she did not even shut the door. The door was open. She hadn't set the alarm. My home was open and had there been any kind of wind at all, the door would have opened enough for my cats to have easily escaped. I called the owner immediately. No response. Left an email for the owner the next day and repeated what happened & explained why I couldn't hire their company again. No response. It is inexcusable that a company could be left with the responsibility for someone's home, possessions and pets and do something this irresponsible and not even apologize. I was quite frantic over what happened and no pet owner should ever worry that much over the safety and security of their pets.

There was an initial visit in which a longish form is filled out with details about the pets and the house. The customer can choose to leave a housekey with the service. The reservation can be requested from the website, and payment (in advance) can be made with PayPal. I have had the same petsitter each time, but I have the option to change. The petsitter leaves a detailed note each time they visit. The company is very customer-oriented, very pet-oriented, and has been very reliable each of the 4 times I have used them this year. I feel as though they really care about my kitties and my house. What a great service, and peace of mind!

I highly recommend Nunn Better to anyone who has pets with special needs. They care for your pets as if they were your own. I wish I could find a sitter for my toddler who is as good!

The animals loved the sitter and we got detailed notes about the animals every time the sitter stopped in. Highly recommended for pet and/or house sitting. We would not think of using anyone else.

One of the staff members came to the home to meet the pets before hand and take a medical history all at no charge. I was able to make my reservation online, and updated my pet's file (containing all his care and medical history) on the website as well. Very convenient! They invoiced me by email, and I pre-paid for the pet care online with my credit card. I have used them for 2 years now, and each experience has been really good. They will keep a key on file if you want them to and the sitters are all trained in pet first aid and CPR. They make it easy to travel in peace! They give one of my dogs medication when necessary, too. My pets love them, and I trust them to do what's needed in my absence. I think they take better care of the pets than my husband does!
