I contacted several of the auto glass replacement shops I found on Angie's List. They all quoted around $300 to replace my windshield. When Northwest quoted $205 I hired them. They have very low overhead, don't have a shop They come to your house. So, they are able to do the work for less than others,even others who come to your house.

I was pleasantly surprised when the owner himself answered the phone and told me he could stop by the next day and reinstall the rear view mirror on my older truck. I had purchased and used three auto mirror replacement kits only to have one metal bracket end up in the defroster vent, and another fall off entirely; the third had tilted forward and ended up on the dash yet again. He refused to charge me for the quickly accomplished work. I and quot;tippedand quot; him anyway! And will definitely call him should I need windshield replacement. What a wonderful, charming, witty, experienced gentleman!

I would definitely use this company again. From making the appointment to actually having the work done, everyone with whom I spoke was friendly and made me feel as though they truly appreciated my business. The gentleman who actually came out and did the work was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything he did. He did a great job. The windshield looks great, the molding looks great, and it is more quiet inside! (The previous windshield was not properly installed- how improperly I didnt realize until I saw it uninstalled. I have glass coverage through my insurance company so I dont know how competitive their prices are, but I would not hesitate to use this company again.

It went fantasticly. My girlfriend is so darn happy. They came right on time promised to the apartment complex where she lives. Matt, the owner, and his assistant replaced the rear driver side window and then proceeded to fix this huge bumper problem that has been aggravating us for over 4 months. She asked, when the arrived, if they knew anyone who could repair the bumper problem, they just took it upon themselves to fix it right then and there. What wonderful service!

Couldn't have been smoother. Called Matt Gipson (sole proprietor of Northwest Auto Glass) due to the good reviews on Angie's List. He handled the insurance claim prior to the service while he had me on the phone. We made an appointment at my home for a few days later to do the job, and he and a helper showed up absolutely on time, took care of the job perfectly, and explained what he'd done and what I needed to know about it. It's my preference to use sole proprietors, rather than big brand companies, for repair services whenever appropriate (they tend to give better customer service than employees of bigger companies), and Matt certainly confirmed this practice, as well as the usefulness of Angie's List.

Extremely pleased with service! Have 4 door Chevy Silverado, wife rolled down rear window and when she rolled it up, it sounded like glass breaking. Matt said window was not broken, but that window regulator was going bad. He stated they are expensive and that he would lube up regulator in hopesof saving it. He charged $40 to fix, which I felt was reasonable for amount of labor. After he left, I thought I would check the other rear door window and you guessed it, it rolled down but not up. I called Matt, he turned around and got window up before heavy rains. The regulator on this window could not be saved. He ordered regulator, came at appointed time, replaced regulator. Cost for regulator and install, $200. Matt is very dependable and will now do ALL my auto glass work through him.

I don't use him often but I recommend him highly. He is reliable and very good. The guy follows up and is there when you need him.

My 20 year old Miata needed a new windshield (1st in 20 years, not bad). Anyhow, if you look there are tons of people out there replacing windshields. I called around and got multiple quotes. Matt Gipson came in with the most reasonable price as well as being very flexible with when he could do the repair. He came to my house and was very professional and did a great job for a great price. I would recommend him for a windshield repair/replacement.
