Day one had to loan technician tools to do job. Could not run temporary line as he had left it at another job. Was told emergency service would be applied to line replacement It was not. No show no call two days. When I called on friday to see what was up was told a manager would call back. He called but didnt know anything about me calling Friday. He was calling to collect for an uncompleted job. Debris were left at front door a pile of chipped cement where 90 year old blind woman has to pop out to get her newspaper. Then not once but two different times the same individual left the front porch chairs blocking the front door. Had she come out she could have fallen. They left her without water for 5 hours. Could not take her pills. Large Bush still tied up the way they left it. They went through all the trouble to run a solid ground wire from the street to house only to splice 2 ft away. To contact Mr Rooter Tucson you have to call Colorado. No local support. Says family owned but where is the family? Have photos to prove.

This was in a rental unit, and I live about 400 miles away. They called and told me that the pipes in the slab had probably collapsed, and that for about $2,500 - $4,000 depending on which option I chose, they would do a hydrostatic cleaning and camera inspection, and provide an estimate for the work to break through the concrete and replace the pipe. I called another plumber recommended by a realtor friend, and they did the cleaning and inspection for under $400. There ended up being nothing wrong with the pipe. Watch out for these guys.

I made the mistake of not checking online reviews before hiring them. My bad. Instead of just clearing the clogs and advising that I use a tree-root killer, they replaced all the sewage pipes and charged me $5000. Yes, I was suckered in. Never again.

Horrible! worst experience of my life these people are BIG time CON artists I had a draining problem in my half bath & they said I needed a clean out trap first which cost me $1000,00 then they claimed I needed a hydro scrub which cost me another $1,300 then when I continued to have the same draining issue they claimed my sewer line was broken & i needed have this fiber glass sleeve the cost would be $13,000 I said NO that's too much money & you probably broke it when you did the hydro scrub! they said at least apply for financing so I did & they said I was approved & that they would be out the next morning, after they left I called their office & told them I was going to cancel because I needed to get a second opinion ok the said. The next morning the  Mr Rooter guy calls saying he would be out in 15 minutes I said sorry I canceled last night he said oh you can't do that because we already ordered the materials I said well in the state of AZ you have at least 24 hrs to cancel i'll see you in court & I hung up.They continued to call me & harass me showing up at my door at 7:00pm at night. When I finally agreed to let them sleeve my sewer line they dug a BIG ditch in my front yard with out calling blue stake when I questioned them about it they said oh that's really not necessary, so when they showed up the next morning & cut my GAS line with gas spewing all over my front yard & the fire dept on it's way I knew these people were not only CON artists but real idiots they took off when southwest gas showed up to fix the gas line they cut & almost blew me up.

I would not ever use them again. The guys that came, they tried to sell me this and get me to do this and get me to do that to my plumbing. All I needed was it cleaned out. They told me, ?okay, well, it?s going to cost this much to do this.? And I said, ?well, I don?t want that done.? And then they went out and called the boss. To me, that?s just is a red-flag scamming thing. And then they came back with a lower price and I just was not happy with it.

Punctual and friendly.  Charged $350 to snake mainline then tried to sell me a clean-out on property with a hydro-wash of main line for $4200!!!  Next plumber called said he could do it for $1000.  Don't trust these guys.

This review is for work performed for my mother.  She has used Mr. Rooter a couple of times, as they are always the first plumber to respond if she has an issue.  She told me the previous repairs seemed well done but were pretty expensive - when she told me they charged her $1600 to replace a 40 gallon gas water heater, I almost fell over!!!  Talk about taking advantage of the elderly.  The water heater they installed is $289 retail at a local plumbing supply house.  The water heater is easily accessed on her outside back porch and all they had to do is disconnect, reconnect and haul away the old heater.

They are polite, prompt and neat, but don't let that lull you into trusting that they are giving you a good price.  There is a deal for this same job from an A rated plumber on Angie's List right now for $549.

They used a typical bait and switch deceptive marketing strategy by advertising a coupon price and then telling us that the cost would be 4 times that amount, and without our asking, they gave us the delux service with a video camera and then tried to use that to get us to pay $5000 to have all our lines cleaned.

I called approximately 1p and asked about having the house snaked from the vents on the roof (2-3).
I had recently had the washing machine back up during draining and my daughter commented that her tub was draining very slow.  Approx 3 yes ago I had similar problems all over the house and had someone out who snaked from the roof to the city sewer connection and have not had problems until now - I explained that I wanted that service again.
Additionally, the company had a coupon for a low flow, high efficiency toilet and install - so I asked if it could be done at the same time -and was told yes.
They set up a time for 4-6p that day - wonderful.  I left work early.  The company called and stated Justin would be there between 4-430.  Justin arrived right at 4p. He was clean, professional and very courteous all while telling me they don't get on the roof, its a company policy.  I stated that I was clear with Julie that was the service I was requesting.  He stated he would contact his supervisor and that he would make that decision.  While waiting, Justin went through the house evaluating all of the drains and their access as well as the sewer cleanout.
I showed him the toilet I was planning on replacing and he stated he didn't know anything about the toilet and didn't have one on his truck.
When Justin's supervisor arrived he informed me that I needed to be educated about why I was asking for an inferior service.
He spent 20 very loud minutes showing me why snaking is bad and "hydroscrubbing" was best at the cost of $3-6,000.
I stated emphatically, repeatedly, I wanted the service I called and requested.  To have all the drains snaked from inside the house was $200-500 per drain and would take a couple of days!  I reminded them of the coupon and had them snake the two specific drains.  We originally scheduled to do the toilet for Friday - but after looking at the actual cost of a similar toilet and the loss of additional work time - cancelled that service.   HUGE BAIT and SWITCH

They had to remove a nut to open a plug before they could unclog the drain, but they used the wrong tool. They chewed up the nut and left without finishing the job when I suggested that they use the correct tool. After I had someone else come out to fix the drain, they refused to make amends when I contacted them.

So far drain is fine.  No complaint with that.  However, I would venture to say the work could have been done by another competent plumber for half the price.

They were good, they cleaned up after and fixed all the holes.  They did everything they were supposed.   They are, however, very expensive.  They are quite professional and very good.  I'd say they were very exceptional. I will be using them again especially because I have a warranty.

I waited this long to make sure that everything was working well.  So far everything is working well.  The plumber came with booties to make sure our floors stayed clean.  He did this upon coming and when he returned to put in th new faucet.  He was courteous and diligent.

They sent someone out who wasn't very experienced and brought a very, very old piece of equipment that they acted like they never intended to use. He kept requesting that we authorize a different way to fix the problem, which was also very costly. They wanted to use video equipment to find out the problem, but all we wanted them to do was open it up then we could discuss the problem. They estimated the work would take 2-4 hours and it took every bit of 4 hours. They were not very professional and we would never use them again. They were going to charge us $160, but then reduced it to $100.
