We contacted Angie s on August 5, 2025, to request a repair for our toilet. Golden State Plumbing showed up and said they received our request from Angie s. We received several responses, among them was Golden State Plumbing, which said they would be there by nine. They showed up and fixed our toilet. The owner, Nicholas, talked us into getting the water purification system. He said they could get it done that day, and it would cost $4,300 plus tax (5,009). He also told us there was a lifetime warranty on the system. We asked if that included warranting the system and whether we should sell the house. He said yes. We asked about servicing the unit, and he said they come out once a year, and all service work is done by them as part of the purchase of the system. He also said they would scope all our pipes, as that is a free service they always do on their jobs. He offered to repair the drywall on our kitchen ceiling at no charge (my husband said no, that s ok). We agreed, paid them, and they came back about 2. About 4, he called us into the garage and said that our pipes in the area where they were doing the installation were too damaged to continue the job. He said it would take $2,784 more to complete the job. At this point, we had a hole in our laundry room wall near the water heater and a hole in our garage wall where the unit was being installed. We had no choice but to give him more money to complete the job. We were told that they would repair the walls, and the laundry room wall was semi-patched that day. When they left that night, we were told they would be back to finish the rest of the work. We haven t seen them since. I have sent texts requesting: 1. A Warranty/Guarantee, 2. Drywall to repair holes in our walls made by the installation, 3. Scope all pipes as promised, 4. Send an updated invoice of work paid for. Nicholas replied that he sent the invoices, the warranty will come in the mail, and that he will try to get a drywall person to repair the walls. AT this point, he has not contacted us (I have contacted him several times … see my list of enclosed texts). One more thing, the company invoice, truck, and representatives say they are Golden State Plumbing, your records show that phone number (602) 520-4044 listed with Angie s as Morgan Family Plumbing. Golden State Plumbing is not listed with Angie s.

Anthony worked on my faulty water heater that was not putting out hot water, he walked me through everything and was very patient explaining what was wrong. A quick 30 minutes later my water heater was working good as new and he was off. I really appreciate your guys service and will recommend in the future.
