Great, reassured us that the piano was not damaged during our recent move. He even gave us the names of several piano teachers.

Mike arrived on time. We're new to the Tucson area and were unfamiliar with how the change from high humidity in the summer months to very low humidity in the non-summer months affects the tuning of pianos so he gave us a very good explanation. He gave us an option of tuning one piano while the humidity is still low and returning to tune the other during the and quot;monsoonsand quot; so that regardless of the humidity we would still have one piano that would sound very good. We opted to have them both tuned now with the option of having him come back later if the humidity affects the sound to the point of distraction. We found him to be affable and very conscientious. We showed an interest in how the innards of the piano operates so he took the time to explain how the piano works and showed us various features like the springs on the hammers on the Yamaha upright. We never knew they were even there. When he tuned our Wurlitzer spinet, he found and pointed out to us a string that had been broken and repaired. Overall, our impression of Mike Erickson was entirely positive. We plan to use him when the pianos need to be retuned.

Mike is a nice guy. Very professional, informative and fair. I highly recommend him. He was running a little late and called to let us know. We liked that.

He is wonderful. He is very smooth. He shows up when he says he will. He has a wonderful personality. He does a good job. We also have a very old baby grand, and he has been very good at making sure it is in good condition. He does a lot of maintenance and upgrade on it. He really knows pianos. He is very good. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. We think of him as our guy.

He was thorough, patient. I was very pleased with the way he explained everything so I could understand what I was in for.

He went above and beyond the call of duty. Fixed a bug problem stayed for a lot longer than I'm sure he expected the job to take. Was extremely professional and I would highly recommend him!

Mike has tuned my acoustic piano a few times as well as doing other needed repair work for the piano. I highly recommend his work. He's on time, meticulous, very skilled and courteous. His business card states he is available M-F and available some evenings and he will mail out reminders if you wish. He is also very honest as he will advise you as to whether or not the timing of the tuning is in your best interests, weather-wise (depending on each home environment and reason for the tuning - special event, etc.) since the monsoon season and other factors can cause temporary humidity changes which would affect the length of time your piano stays in tune.
