Excellent!

Excellent service. The watch maker determined that the best course of action was to send the watch to New Jersey to the Seiko Factory repair facility. During the time he was examining my watch, the owner came out and chatted with me about the watch, his business and the historic items in the store. There was no charge for the inspection or the conversation- and they replaced the watch battery free of charge. My overall impression is one of extreme professionalism and customer care.

At one time or another McGuires has fabricated a custom gold & opal pendant I designed, repaired numerous gold items including my husband's wedding ring, sold us larger diamonds for our wedding bands and installed them, and been my go-to source for gold jewelry since they were located downtown. I trust them, and their prices are lower than regular retail shops.

We are not done yet. Resized wedding rings. The custom designer is designing a third band with diamonds for the woman's wedding ring. The mold will be ready to view in a few more days to see if we like it. So far everything has been on schedule and the prices have been less than we expected. Very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable service providers. I cannot mark the quality question because we are not done working with them on the custom ring.

The service was great! Very friendly and efficient. Beautiful selection of jewelry. I needed my ring re-sized and my fiancand eacute; needed his watch re-sized. We traveled from out of town and had not jewelers close by. They performed the task very quickly just before Christmas. I received my ring the next day, and my fiancand eacute; surprised me with a beautiful new ring from their store for Christmas!

They have been very good. They are excellent and couldn't be more helpful. They are very good if you are not sure which direction to go. They are very good at making suggestions. The people who work there and the engraver were excellent. Their pricing is reasonable.
