They did a great job. It was a very professional crew and they completed the job beautifully and in the time they said it would take.

We were completely satisfied with every aspect of the project. Pete Martinez is a perfectionist and has an excellent crew with whom he communicates well. He stayed in touch with them - and us - throughout the job. Pete uses high quality paint and the crew did an outstanding job of preparation and application. When the crew finished, Pete made a thorough inspection of the work, found tiny places that did not meet his standards and made sure they were finished to his and our satisfaction. We have had experience with other painting contractors over the years, and Pete is simply the best. In addition, working with him is a real pleasure and we are recommending him highly.

They came promptly in the morning and worked all day except through their lunch break. But you better like Mexican music because it played all the while they were here. It didn't bother me. They mainly spoke Spanish. But I did all my communicating through Peter Martinez. He speaks perfect English. He even made some additional suggestions to which I agreed to that just enhanced the look of my house. He would come a few times during the day for anything I might want or to talk to his crew. It's a slow going process but perfection usually is. There was not a drop of paint on the carport or anywhere it shouldn't be. They kept the area neat and clean and would clean up after themselves after each days work was done. I was more than pleased with their job when it was completed.

Peter Martinez is the owner of this company and is a good guy. He has done work for us in the past. Recently my wife asked for a quote for something to be done around the house. He is a pleasant guy so it is nice to do business with. He has done a lot of work for us over a period of couple of weeks one time like he fixed up our house a little bit when he did some exterior painting of our house.

Preparation was good. However, things went badly when instead of testing an area (as I was told would happen) on some weathered posts, the painters rushed and painted all of them. In one hour the color was awful. Called Pete Martinez. He came back after holiday to figure out what should be done. Posts were planed and then restained lighter where color went bad. Was told it would cost about $300 extra dollars ( was willing to accept this even though their mistake). Was charged $712 for mistake...

We have used him many times. He is great. He has also told us others to use for jobs he cannot do. We have never had any issues with his work.

He was here for a total of (4) days prepping before they even started the job. He also painted an outdoor wall. They did a quality job. When you spend money on such a project, you want quality work and they give that to you.

Pete came out for the estimate late in the afternoon to accomodate our work schedule. He did a detailed assessment of the job and worked up an estimate on the spot. We wanted to paint the facia board around our roofline and he noticed some water damage in a spot by our garage and recommended we get that fixed prior to painting. We did this and Pete was able to schedule the painting to happent after the repair work, which was actually a bit later than Pete wanted to start so he was very flexible to work with. The quality of the job was outstanding. The first day was spent on prep work and the crew did a very thorough job. The second day they painted and cleaned up. All of the materials were cleaned up and hauled away, they didn't miss a spot. There was no sign of overspray or missed areas. Not only did they paint the facia board and eaves but they painted the lower trim on our stucco columns and the outer wall footings. The final day they did touch up and painted a couple of our outer doors. Pete did a final walkthrough and noticed a couple areas he wanted touched up. This was taken care of the next day. The final price was even better then expected when a 5% Angie's list discount was applied. I could not be happier with the entire transaction. Great price, high quality work, and easy to work with. I won't be searching for any more painters in the future, I'll be using Martinez Custom Painting.

He came out and did a very good estimating job so there were no overruns. He had us pick out the paint colors to match. He also did some exterior doors as well as a complete power wash of the outside. They also cleaned everything up and patched some places that needed to be patched. This company put two coats on the doors and matched everything very well as well as covering the plants outside. This is not the first time that we have used them and I will use them again in the future.

A few weeks before the scheduled painting date, Mr. Martinez kept in touch with me for over a week discussing my color interests and painted a few colors on the house in small patches to assist me in determining how the colors really looked. This enabled me to feel confident about submitting my color choices to the homeowner's association for approval and reduce the potential for repainting if unsatisfied with my choice. He kept in touch regarding the approval process and confirmed our scheduled date. He and his crew arrived on time both days. Mr. Martinez walked the property explaining to his crew exactly what we discussed for work and color placement. He checked in later in the day as well as came by the second day to check out the work and finalize tasks for completion. His crew was very professional and polite the entire time on site and kept their music low enough to not disturb the neighbors. They were all open to my questions and reminders of desired items, and always greeted me with a smile. I was very impressed by their efficiency in their tasks throughout the day, while keeping my property and their equipment well organized. I was very appreciative and satisfied by their cleanup each day and am grateful for no paint left in my landscape rocks or anywhere it shouldn't have been. The best experience I've had with a contractor in a very long time!

They did a fantastic job. All of his employees were very professional and punctual. They helped picked out the colors that we used for both the interior and exterior of my home. They made my house a home.
