They didn't charge me for the estimate. She came out and did whatever I asked her to do. She asked if I had any questions, and answered my questions. She will give me an estimate in a few days. They gave me a time frame between eleven and twelve, and they met the time frame. She had a tape measure. It was pretty thorough. She knew what she was talking about. She knew the name of plants that I didn't know about. I was very satisfied. She had a lot of knowledge. She wasn't just a salesperson coming out there. I don't know, and she did say, she didn't quote me. She did say I could do it in stages. You can do this in stages, and I said, ok.

The crew showed up on time with all the required tools and plantings. First they set out all the plants in the four areas that I selected. They then went on to start installing the planting bed for the grass. While they were busy with that I had time to arrange the plants in the way I wanted. I consulted with them on a couple of planting issues and they planted all the plants later that afternoon and the next morning. It was really helpful for them to let me have a few hours to look at the plants prior to their being planted so I could see how they would look from inside as well as the back deck.
The irrigated planting bed for the grass (10' X 20and quot; - edged in landscape timbers) took a bit over a days work to complete. When finished it looked great!
The crew was very professional and curtious. They were happy to answer questions and help in moving a plant around to what I hoped would be the ideal planting location. They made sure that I understood the watering regime for the new plants and the grass. They cleaned up the yard (even in ares that they didn't work in) and finished right on schedule.
It all looks beautiful and my dog loves having some grass to lie and roll around on. I now have some ides for improving other parts of the property and I will definitely consider having Magic Garden do that work as well.

We purchased 2 beautiful hibiscus that are now the center pieces of our patio. We were very pleased with the time the staff spent telling us a great deal of information on maintaining our plants including winter protection. We apprecated the knowledge the staff shared with us. They all demonstrated real professionalism.

I had bought some trees, bushes, plants and soil from them last year
and was ready for some more plants for my yard.
I don't drive, so I called them up described what I needed, and they delivered it all the next day.
The delivery charge was reasonable and the driver friendly. He took the time to give me some transplanting advice and the plants are doing great.
I will be calling them up next year for more plants.

Very punctual..explained what i wanted - when it was half done, I was advised they could not do exactly what i wanted..so they did it a different way...I sid NO and they had to redo a large portion. Was told there would be no pooling of water from rain. I was given a quick instruction about the rainbird system.(irrigation)
Called a few weeks later because i was having trouble resetting the system...Tony (owner) came out uncordial and told me he would charge if he had to come out again.
9/12- UPDATE had problems with a leak in the irrigation system...call Magic Garden and spoke with Tony..asked for him to give me an estimate on fixing the problem...again NOT very cordial...finally said he could but if i wanted the work done it would be 6-9 weeks before they could get to it. I did reiterate that I knew it was several years and the system was not under any warranty.
9/12 FURTHER UPDATE the company that did the repair advised me that only 1 of the 3
valves works- is hooked up...why did I have 3 put in? At this point I do not think I have any recourse to go back to MG but i would not have them do any work for me.

They destroyed the irrigation system. We had two more leaks we couldn't find and they put 3 leaks on my desert tree. It shouldn't have had any and it grew like a weed so I wanted them to trim it down back to where it was. They will be here next week to do that. I have been working with her since March and have spent way too much money for the service I have had. The wind would just blow over the shrubs they have sent out. I would not have her again.

I wanted three boulders to be later placed in the yard, and they were careful to leave the space for that. They did a good job.

Excellent. We would use them for landscapng except that they are physicaly located too far from our home to justify the travel costs.

The adventure started with Tony (their licensed horticulturalist) spending several hours with me selecting the stock. Their 15 gallon trees all had trunk widths of 2" or more. There was a delay in installing the trees and irrigation system, but the delay was worth the wait. Trees are doing great, prices were very reasonable (considering the size of the trees) and during the delay they took great care of them including fertilizing and acclimating them. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. For best information, ask for Tony!
