Mr Lobato promptly responded to the initial call for estimate even though it was a holiday, but called to postponed by a few hours the appointment to make the actual repairs. As with many service repair people, time management skills are not a strong point. Being retired and at home a lot, this did not bother me, but might prove problematic for busier homeowners on tight schedules.
But the attitude and demeanor of Mr. Lobato were first rate. He carefully explained a range of repairs I might make, which allowed me to make an informed decision. The actual repair took a short time, and the door works just fine. I am quite happy with his work and will be calling him again.

A storm blew my garage door out so it wouldn't work, or so I thought since the lights in the garage all worked. Anthony showed up within an hour of the promised time, not bad given others I've used. It ended up being a circuit breaker issue. He stayed and serviced the door anyway, checked all moving parts and lubricated where needed. He did not want to charge me for his time, I insisted on giving him something. Really knew his stuff and will not hesitate to use him again. Will refer him to all of my friends and coworkers.

We were initially frustrated because he promised to come but was then unable to do so. When he did come out, he was very apologetic and performed the work at no charge. We have been very happy with his work. He informed us that the garage door problem resulted from not servicing the door on a yearly basis, which we will do in the future.

Showed up a little late which is expected in the repair industry (every call they roll on is a blackbox that they have to estimate time on without seeing the issue), immediately assessed the problem and corrected the error without pause. Did a great job. Very thorough, professional and proficient.

C&R replaced three 9x7 garage doors at my house. On 7/8/11 I paid a 50% deposit on the doors. I was told they would be ordered and available to install in about 2 weeks. Communication is not one of Anthony's strong suits. I had to call him repeatedly and hear the litany of excuses regarding his inability to get the job done. On September 4 he did install the three doors. I was told the replacement part needed to complete the job would be in in two weeks. I have again contacted Anthony by voice mail and by text. In our last conversation he promised me he would come on Saturday. Saturday came and went. When I called again, he was busy and could not make it. I was then promised a visit on Monday. Again no show. It is now 10/5/11 and I am waiting on a part to complete the job. Now I am unable to reach him at all using the 520-312-9325 number listed. Perhaps he has met some untimely demise?

Call, left message, got call back immediately. Came out next day, explained the problem showing me a small part, saying he would fix it without even charging me for part, just the 100.00 flat fee. He promised to be back later in the week to fix. Didn't show up... needed to rescheduled a couple of times to get him out here. HOWEVER, with that said, he was a nice honest guy who obviously knows what he is doing - just wearing too many hats and not good at time management skills.

Even though Tony apparently does good work, he can't manage to show up on time or do what he says. Since I have no one to compare him to, I can't provide any expertise as to the quality of his work. However, he is the stereotypical contractor in that he can't manage to show up when he says he will or do what he said he would do.
He replaced our garage door and opener, but showed up a day late to do it, keeping us waiting around most of a Sunday. The garage door worked fine, but after a week, my wife's remote opener died. I knew the batteries were fine because I switched them out in my remote.
I called Tony once about it, but he never returned my call. I called him again from my cell phone (a number he couldn't recognize) and he answered saying he was busy and forgot to get back to me. He promised to bring a replacement remote over the next day. Of course, he didn't. Now three days later I still haven't heard from him. I called him this morning and got his voice mail and left a message. No call back.
Even though he may do good work, though I can't testify to that, he is grossly unreliable. Use another vendor.

They did excellent work and it’s been working fine ever since. They were easy to work with. It was a fantastic experience and it saved us a lot of money not having to replace the garage door.

I will use C&R for anything they do in the future. And I will be recommending them to everyone I know. I could not be anymore pleased with their work or their character. It is so nice dealing with honest people that you can trust.

He did a great job overall. He wanted to come on the day we phoned, but we said the next day was more convenient. When he arrived he listened to our problem (when opening the door it would not go all the way up and seemed to be generally aging) and our assessment (the spring probably needed tightening, which we knew was too dangerous for us to do), then he serviced the door (adjusting the spring tension and lubing what needed lubing). He was very fast and efficient, and very courteous. He told us our door (after 23+ years) was in great condition, did not try to sell us anything else, and gave us some general tips on garage doors. He charged us what he quoted over the phone, which was a $65 service fee. All in all, we were very satisfied, and the door works much better now.

Tony responded very quickly to open our garage doors so that we could get our cars out, It took him about 2 weeks to come back and replace the right springs on the door but he did install smaller springs in the mean time so that we could use the door. Tony got sick and therefore, there was a bit of lost time as can be expected. Since the installation and overall inspection of the door, and Tony was paid, we called him about coming by to check out a noise the door is making when it goes up. He has not responded. We both like the young man and are disappointed that he has not returned to see what the problem is.

He came and did the work after Labor Day. He was excellent and he did a great job. I spent a little over $100. The spring in my garage door broke, so he came out and inspected and repaired it. He put a new one in and he was just really good. He was flexible in terms of scheduling and was very professional. He showed up promptly and knew what he was doing. He got it done within half an hour and all in all he did a great job. He worked around a schedule conflict. He came in and told me what the problem was and how much it was going to cost and fixed it.

Very well. The estimate was a little higher than standard since the garage door was longer than standard and there was additional framing required so that it would seal properly. The final price matched the estimate. The installer was prompt, courteous and professional. The work was completed in the estimated time. We are very pleased with the result.

They came out quickly and fixed quickly. Also performed some maintenance since the job did not yet meet the minimum charge.

Our electric garage door opener quit working. He came out and lubed and adjusted the door and motor. It works fine now. However, he recommended that a spring be replaced and a couple of panels be stabilized as a former owner backed into the door and bent a couple of the panel frames. We will follow up with these additional repairs in January.

After I ran into the side of my garage entrance and pushed it back about 3", rendering the garage door inoperable, I needed some help fast. Based upon some recommendations here, I called Anthony of C & R on Sunday, and he called back within 5 minutes. He came out first thing Monday morning - inspected everything carefully, gave us a very low quote for the whole job (which involved some carpentry and painting as well as working on the door), and we scheduled for Wednesday. He got the job completed beautifully on Wednesday. The door now operates much more quietly and smoothly than it ever did before. I'm almost glad that I ran into it! (But for the auto body work that is now needed ...) Anthony is very professional, capable, punctual and well organized. I recommend him very strongly for any garage door work in the Tucson area.

I called Anthony early on a Friday morning and he made it out to my house within two hours to look at my door, which had closed too far the night before. After about 15 minutes of working on the door, he diagnosed that the logic board was bad and said he could ether replace the whole unit or just the logic board. He suggested just replacing the logic board because the previous owners had recently replaced the gears and otherwise the unit was in good shape. Since he did not have the part on hand, he came back the next day and replaced the logic board along with performing routine maintenance on the door. The logic board he replaced did not have a light on it and offered to order the other part and come back to replace it at no charge to me (I declined as I didn't really need a light on the front and back of the opener). Anthony was very professional and easy to work with. His attention to detail as well as his prompt and quick service make him a great choice, especially for emergency repair work.

Have used Anthony 4 times at various homes. Always courteous, very responsive, often within hours of our call, professional. On the above recall, service was performed with no further charge. We consider C&R our garage door people and recommend highly.

I got a call from my tenant, at a rental property that I own, telling me that the spring on the garage door had broken and that the garage door was open and could not be brought down. I called C&R Garage Doors and they were at the property in less than 30 minutes. Anothny evaluated the situation, provided me my options, and then did the work in a quick, professional, and courteous manner. The whole process from when my tenant notified me to completion took 2 hours. I'm very satisfied with the work and customer service and would highly recommend C&R Garage Doors to anyone needing garage door service.
