Very good price. Excellent work. Very responsive and nice to work with. The only reason I gave them a B instead of an A is because the materials supplier they work with initiated a lien on my property for the value of the materials. Apparently Lee's knows that they do this and they did not tell the supplier to stop after I'd paid my bill promptly. One phone call got an apology from Lee's and they called the supplier and told them to stop/cancel the lien, but this is an unnecessary and unwanted bit of trouble that residential customers should not have to deal with.

All else was good.

To start, Lee’s estimator provided the most complete estimate of 4 companies at a competitive price.

The surface preparation and installation of the asphalt were outstanding. Lee personally checked the site, preparation and completed work to ensure I was satisfied with the project.
Old Pueblo Sealcoating did a great job of preparation prior to the sealcoating to ensure that all dirt and loose old coatings were
removed. They scraped, brushed and power brushed the surface, prior to blowing it clean. Cracks were hot sealed prior to a full hand sealcoat.
Overall I am pleased with the project. I was however, put off by receiving as “Arizona Preliminary Twenty Day Lien Notice” mailed the day after the bill was mailed and 15 days before the bill was due. I understand that contractors have no other recourse to ensure bills are paid, but the issuance was premature and indicated a lack of trust on a job that was not yet complete.

They did a good job. They were neat and accommodating. I think they underestimated and had to go back and fix it, but they did not charge us. They were very responsive also. We got other estimates, the they were in the middle.

I was very pleased with them. Their price was significantly below the price of their competitors. I contacted many companies and got quotes from them. Most of them were expensive and many of them didn’t quote everything I asked them to quote. I gave Lee’s Asphalt a call based on the card that I received through mail. I wanted to see what they offered. They were almost 20% lower than everybody else. They also did a really nice job. I probably have to have them come back out to do a sealing where there’s a high traffic area. It was significantly better than their competitors. They came in and did everything that they were supposed to do. They removed all the old asphalt and repaved the driveway by widening the parking area. They did the work for $5800 and most of the competitors estimated between $7600 and $9000. I had probably 5 different companies come by to give me a quote. Most of the people were very professional and they all gave me written estimates. I wanted extra parking space because I am on a hill and it’s kind of hard for cars to be parked on the steep part of the hill. Many of them even forgot to include it. Lee’s Asphalt seemed to know what they were talking about. They seemed to be very tuned to my specific interest. They accommodated all the little things that I wanted done. They also did it in a quick and timely fashion. It also looks pretty good. There is a little bit of a wear and tear on it since that’s where all the vehicles turn. So they paved more on the surface.
