LEBSACK APPRAISAL

Our lender used their service and they made many mistakes in the report and refused to re-appraise. This caused a lower appraisal value of the house than the purchase price. Really irresponsible!

Lousy would be polite. This was our first house purchase and we were using our saved pennies to buy a court owned house, needing to jump through many hoops . We needed a quality appraiser, but here's what our hard earned money got: Lebsack was weeks late to do his initial appraisal, took weeks to submit it, and (in his error) didn't include 500 sq feet of interior space. We had to use zoning, the city, and other means to get this footage included to get our mortgage. On his end, he admitted the mistake but required more money to edit his error. Almost impossible to get in contact with, seems if we had more money/nicer house we would have gotten better attention or at least a return call. This should process should have taken days, not months, and in the end we paid him money for nothing, and actually had to quadruple our efforts to cover his error. Our Happy ending, we did get our first house, and love it. It's old, cheap, but ours. And in our household, the word "Lebsack" means to step in poop outside.
