Excellent! Good scheduling to accommodating he flying in from Midwest to be present during work at my second home in Sabino Springs. Quality installation with experienced tile setters. Very good job repairing cracks, leveling uneven spots, and setting tile. Covered all cabinets and excellent clean-up. Frederico is professional and delivers what he promises. Highly recommend!

Four weeks later the crew finally arrived (after a host of excuses from Kiko). The crew worked hard in the August heat, and appeared to do a good job. After four days of labor they were finished. It looked good until I went to install the built-in grill. The workers had measured incorrectly and the grill did not fit. I contacted Kiko immediately, and he said his crew would fix it.
After scheduling on two occasions to have the crew at my home and having them not show up, I spoke with Kiko. He told me that his crew was at my house and he had just spoken to them. I was standing in my driveway and clearly there was no crew there! I don't like being lied to. Anyway, the crew eventually showed up several days later and I was not home. They "fixed" the grill opening and in all honesty the grill does fit now. The problem: They cracked a tile and the grout lines are cracked on much of the surfaces across the tiled surfaces.
Again I notified Kiko and he promised to address the cracked tiles and grout cracks. A week went by, no crew. Monday the following week I emailed Kiko who stated the repairs would be done "this week." Not surprisingly, the crew never materialized. I now need to hire another tile contractor to remove the improperly installed grout and do it correctly.
I plan on filing a complaint with the Registrar of Contractors and the Better Business Bureau. Kiko never came back to the job site to inspect the work, and he has now been unresponsive. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company.
UPDATE:
The Co-owner contacted me and was unaware of my issues. Louis was very apologetic, and sent a crew out to fix it. They had to come out twice, but finally made it right. In fairness, I upgraded my review accordingly.
We would absolutely use La Casa Roja Tile again!
Pedro and Abdom were both extremely competent and hard workers, not even stopping for breaks, just lunch. They tiled the fireplace front, made the mantel and tiled it and tiled the floor in front of the fireplace with tile that matched the tile we had put down seven years ago, matching the grout and grout lines. When they were done, they cleaned up both the outside and inside as though they'd never done any work....very impressed with their clean-up. We're very pleased with the finished product and more so that they finished in less time than estimated.
.The only catch was that they were pretty booked up, and probably couldn't get to us for a couple of weeks. But just a few days later they had an unexpected opening in their schedule, and were able to come out and do the entire demolition that morning. Once the demo was done, the crew was out every day, without break, until the job was all finished. The whole project took about 6 days start to finish. The workers were very professional and courteous. They went out of their way to keep the dust and mess at a minimum, even though that often meant working in a very mall space with the door closed (Thank you, Ivan and Beto!). Kiko was out to our house daily to oversee their work, and to keep us up to date with what was going on. We are so happy with the results! The workmanship and attention to detail in their work really shows. We even were asked by the person who installed the glass walls and doors, who had done our tile work, because he said he was very impressed the workmanship.
We look forward to using La Casa Roja again when we get around to the remodel of our other bathroom!
