This is the 3rd time we have used them for tile work. Kiko is the owner and is great to work with. He has amazing crews and they have all done great work for us. Kiko communicated well with us throughout the entire process. We felt his pricing was fair. His two guys were here every morning first thing and even worked some Saturdays. They cleaned up every day and locked the house when they left. I highly recommend using him for any size job that you may have. You will not be disappointed. We couldn’t be happier.

They really prepped the floor well. The installation was perfect and the installers were professional. We are hiring again to do our kitchen and bathroom. The price was very fair and we are happy.

It went great. The floor is beautiful and La Casa Roja made a transition exactly how I asked. Courteous and friendly gentlemen all around in company.

Excellent!   Good scheduling to accommodating he flying in from Midwest to be present during work at my second home in Sabino Springs.   Quality installation with experienced tile setters.  Very good job repairing cracks, leveling uneven spots, and setting tile.  Covered all cabinets and excellent clean-up.   Frederico is professional and delivers what he promises.  Highly recommend!

Owner Kiko is a nice guy.  My experience with this company has been very unpleasant, although I believe Kiko is a nice guy, he just does not run his business well.  I contracted to have my outdoor bar rebuilt with Mexican Tile.  I was referred to La Casa Roja from the Mexican Tile Store, where I purchased the tile.  I signed the contract to have the work performed after Kiko came to my house and seemed impressive as to his knowledge.  The contract was accepted by me on July 13, 2015.  Kiko stated he was a week to two weeks out to start the job.
Four weeks later the crew finally arrived (after a host of excuses from Kiko).  The crew worked hard in the August heat, and appeared to do a good job.  After four days of labor they were finished.  It looked good until I went to install the built-in grill.  The workers had measured incorrectly and the grill did not fit.  I contacted Kiko immediately, and he said his crew would fix it.
After scheduling on two occasions to have the crew at my home and having them not show up, I spoke with Kiko.  He told me that his crew was at my house and he had just spoken to them.  I was standing in my driveway and clearly there was no crew there!  I don't like being lied to.  Anyway, the crew eventually showed up several days later and I was not home.  They "fixed" the grill opening and in all honesty the grill does fit now.  The problem:  They cracked a tile and the grout lines are cracked on much of the surfaces across the tiled surfaces.
Again I notified Kiko and he promised to address the cracked tiles and grout cracks.  A week went by, no crew.  Monday the following week I emailed Kiko who stated the repairs would be done "this week."  Not surprisingly, the crew never materialized. I now need to hire another tile contractor to remove the improperly installed grout and do it correctly.
I plan on filing a complaint with the Registrar of Contractors and the Better Business Bureau.  Kiko never came back to the job site to inspect the work, and he has now been unresponsive.  I cannot in good conscience recommend this company.

UPDATE:

The Co-owner contacted me and was unaware of my issues.  Louis was very apologetic, and sent a crew out to fix it.  They had to come out twice, but finally made it right.  In fairness, I upgraded my review accordingly.

Working with the owner, Kiko, was a pleasure, and he has a first rate tile installer, Pablo.  We are having them back to do a kitchen backsplash.  I told Kiko that his crew needs to turn down the music while they work, but they are a good bunch. They laid down drop cloth on all the floors and kept the area clean. Pablo is a perfectionist, which is what you want working on your home!  We are happy with the final result.

Totally professional. Mr. Jacome was prompt to respond to initial request for estimate and assisted in selection of tile.  Suggested a particular pattern of placing tile that looks great!  The crew was very accommodating and professional at all times.  F. Jacome was available at all times during the project and could be reached by phone whenever necessary.  Very happy with this contractor and totally satisfied with his work.  The crew carefully moved furniture and were respectful and courteous always.   Very immaculate in their cleanup and finish.

We just purchased a well-used home and had to replace all the flooring in the house.  Kiko and his crew removed old tile, repaired numerous cracks in the concrete slab,  jack hammered and ground down a large hump in the living room floor, prepped and installed about 2300 square feet of tile throughout the house.  They faced a number of significant problems with an unlevel floor, and they solved each one professionally, artfully, with care and  precision.  Kiko kept us informed about their progress throughout the process.  He is a very personable and friendly person with whom to work.  He was always responsive to our questions and concerns, and he followed up with us in a timely manner each time.  His crew was outstanding---quick, efficient, and effective.  They are true artists.  We got an excellent price from Kiko, and we got an outstanding product  too!
We would absolutely use La Casa Roja Tile again!

Great experience working with Kiko! I've had a lot of bad contractors in my home over the past 10 years, so I have become a bit leery of having work done in my home--but this company is one of the best I've ever worked with. Kiko was quick to reply to my original message, was friendly and professional, and the best part...he was able to accommodate my job within a very limited timeframe! The work performed by his tile setter, Ricardo, was top quality. The kitchen backsplash is absolutely beautiful. I will definitely call this company for any future tile work.

Outstanding work in all respects: planning and layout, tile selection, fast installation (three days, start to finish), excellent craftsmanship, and fastidious cleanup. Very reasonably priced, too. Kiko was superb. I will definitely go back for future work!

On a scale of 1 - 10, with ten being the highest, I would rate La Casa Roja Tile a fifteen!  The quality of their workmanship is absolute perfection.  Louis, a co-owner, has a flair for design that will exceed one's expectations. The company is absolutely reliable, trustworthy, and dependable. Their prices are very within reason.  One would never be disappointed with workmanship done by La Casa Roja Tile.

Pedro and Abdom were both extremely competent and hard workers, not even stopping for breaks, just lunch. They tiled the fireplace front, made the mantel and tiled it and tiled the floor in front of the fireplace with tile that matched the tile we had put down seven years ago, matching the grout and grout lines. When they were done, they cleaned up both the outside and inside as though they'd never done any work....very impressed with their clean-up. We're very pleased with the finished product and more so that they finished in less time than estimated.

The owner, Kiko, had great ideas. We added our own and it looks wonderful. Workers did an excellent job. Only slight problem was the last day. They told us that they would be finished that day, then took a long lunch and seemed to really relax - said they'd come back the next day to finish (Saturday.) I pressed, since we had been told it would all be over that day and they did finish the job as promised.

We contacted 3 tile installers in order to get estimates before starting in on this project.  We happened to run into the owner of La Casa Roja Tile (Federico "Kiko" Jacome) while at one of the local tile stores.  He seemed professional yet personable, so we arranged for him to come out later that day for another estimate.  We were very impressed during his first visit, because he spent a lot of time with us answering our questions, and gave us a lot of good ideas and details of how to proceed with this project.  We were almost disappointed after he left because we were sure (especially after checking their website) that as impressed as we were, they would turn out to be out of our budget.  Happy surprise when they actually came in well below everyone else!
The only catch was that they were pretty booked up, and probably couldn't get to us for a couple of weeks.  But just a few days later they had an unexpected opening in their schedule, and were able to come out and do the entire demolition that morning.  Once the demo was done, the crew was out every day, without break, until the job was all finished.  The whole project took about 6 days start to finish. The workers were very professional and courteous. They went out of their way to keep the dust and mess at a minimum, even though that often meant working in a very mall space with the door closed (Thank you, Ivan and Beto!).  Kiko was out to our house daily to oversee their work, and to keep us up to date with what was going on.  We are so happy with the results!  The workmanship and attention to detail in their work really shows.  We even were asked by the person who installed the glass walls and doors, who had done our tile work, because he said he was very impressed the workmanship.
We look forward to using La Casa Roja again when we get around to the remodel of our other bathroom!
