BEWARE - DO NOT USE THIS INDIVIDUAL - HE IS A FRAUD Contracted to hang three televisions in my home. Showed up without sufficient help to complete the work. Destroyed one 75" television and said he was not guilty, but sorry. Mounted two televisions but didn't finish the install. Spent seven (7) hours total in the house and left without notice. Sends the following text messages - "I went ahead and took off. We were running a bit late. I leveled the TV exact exact in the other oom according to my level. I hope your matches up" "I'm very sorry about your large TV. We obviously caused the problem but in reality, I don't know what we could have done differently. I called one of my IT people and he said this is common in TVs with these screens" "I'm going to pass on trying to install a large TV as I'm only one person and I occasionally have help today as an example with (name). I think you need someone with three or more people to guarantee this doesn't happen again". Exactly what Jason Jones texted me. I can't make any of this up. I am out a 75" Samsung TV, I have a totally incomplete install and no offer from Jason Jones to make this right. Beware, this individual is a fraud.

Very smoothly. Took less than 4 hours for one man (Jeff) to complete. The entire time frame from my first call to schedule an estimate to job completion was less than 3 weeks. Jones is not "Tesla Recommended" [ie listed on their website] - but from my research that really doesn't mean much. It's a job that this company was able to perform quickly, professionally, and well.

Jones Electric did a wonderful job. Jason was timely in responding to our call. He said they could do the work the same day if we wanted it. We agreed on the work being done 2 days later. Jeff (an electrician) called us before his arrival and completed the work in 1 1/2 hours. The irrigation timer installation looked great; it was tested and worked fine. Rather than a single switch for the pantry light, Jeff made a single existing switch into a double. It looks wonderful. When doing this job Jeff made a minimal mess, despite having to cut holes in the wall and pantry ceiling (dealing with blown-in attic insulation). Jeff is worth every penny we paid - thanks for a great job!

Due to the asinine way the product instructions were written (for Kidde PI2010 dual-sensor smoke/fire alarms), it was not at all clear to me that I could have likely installed these smoke/fire detectors myself. But Jason Jones was the consummate professional, never once doing or saying anything that could lead me to feel stupid. He remarked over the phone (when I called him to request service) that he performs a multi-station inter-connected hard-wired smoke alarm system installation multiple times a day and that he would be happy to do the job.
I was concerned about purchasing the correct (compatible) type of product for the job, having never before dealt with anything more complex than the free-standing battery-powered-only smoke alarms. But Mr. Jones knowledgeably reassured me that, given the year our house was built, there is enough standardization that whatever I purchased for a hard-wired detector set would be workable (as long as all the detectors were of the same brand and model). He took so much time to bring me up to speed on the phone. I felt really cared after!
My only complaint is that, in his zeal to (very professionally!) clean up after himself, when he had finished the installation, he ended up pitching the instruction manuals for the detectors. This was not a huge deal, as I found the manuals in our outdoor trash barrel in the discarded packaging a couple of days later and was able to fish them out (so I could get guidance on acceptable brand/model of long-life lithium battery to replace the factory batteries with and how to get the battery compartments open).
Once I had purchased the smoke detectors and had them in hand, I phoned him to try to schedule the installation appointment. He worked me into his installation schedule ***that same day***. It is difficult for me to explain how grateful I felt about this promptness.
He even phoned me a bit ahead of the appointment and asked if it would be OK for him to come early. That made me even happier, to get this important job banged out and finished.
The total he announced (when finished) ended up being only about half of what he had estimated, So I paid him a good margin extra to express my appreciation for a job well done.
I generally hate having a contractor, any contractor, come onto the property because I have extreme privacy and security concerns. However, Jason Jones made plenty of reassuring eye contact and was respectful in his interactional style--never once blanching at my letting him know that for security reasons I was providing him a pseudonym and would be paying cash. I felt comfortable having him in the house and am considering re-hiring him to do some additional, different electrical work.
In sum, Jason Jones does good quality work and comes across as honest. I felt happy to deal with him and feel a lot of gratitude for all the teaching and explaining he did--plus gratitude for the expert installation of a very important component of fire safety for our house. Hooray, Jason Jones Electric!

There were a few minor issues with the work done at first. A one of the switches in the kitchen did not work. One of the low voltage lighting fixtures failed within a month or so. The telephone lines were not connected to service. In these cases, which I believe all occurred in the first few months after install, they did show up in relatively short order and fix these issues. However, since then, this contractor has been unresponsive to phone messages about subsequent failures. First there was a problem with a cooler switch, and this contractor would not respond to multiple phone messages, so I had to fix it myself. Further, at present I have two issues with recessed lighting he installed. One whole circuit has failed affecting 3 recessed lights, that may be the associated dimmer switch. Another recessed light on a different circuit has failed, that may be the transformer for this Low Voltage light. When I finally did get through to the owner, Jason, he replied he would not come or send anyone and I should call someone else. So he is effectively refusing to service his own electrical work. And he has shown an arrogant and prickly attitude. Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend you use Jones Electric.

This is the second time I have used Jason. The first time I had gotten a bid to put in a 30amp plug for my rv. I needed the plug put in on the opposite side of the house than the power box was located. It was about a 80 foot run. The first bid was extremely high I felt so I got Jason's name and number from my neighbor. His bid was much more in line with my thinking so I hired him. His work was excellent. Since that experience Jason has been my and quot;go-to guyand quot; for all my electrical problems. On this occasion I needed some track lighting installed in the breakfast area. He arrived on time and completed the install in two hours including a dimmer switch in the wall. He cleaned up the site and we talked a bit about another project I was considering. He took the time to give me some advise regarding lighting. I have recommended Jason to my friends. He is prompt, professional, personable and reasonable.

Jones Electric did a fantastic job with the rewiring of my kitchen. I was very happy with the high quality of the work they did. They went out of their way to get the job done on time for me. They are not cheap but their work is worth it.

The project included re-doing an existing small kitchen from the studs out and expanding a new kitchen into existing dining room space. It was a major project. The workmen were courteous, efficient, professional and were careful to clean up after themselves. An estimate was provided and it was adhered to. They even came on Saturday to finish final connections. They provided estimates for extras and stuck to them. There were a number of them, mostly at our request. They didn't try to nickle and dime us to death.
