1998 Buick Skylark suddenly a/c would not work, cruise control would not work, the check engine light was on and the drivetrain would 'surge' while driving.  Scott checked it out, found an 'unlisted' fuse in the engine compartment had blown.  Once he replaced the fuse, the car was back to normal till the a/c was turned on, then the fuse would blow again.  Gave a quote for replacing the a/c compressor, but we needed the car right away so didn't have it done then.  Later took it to another shop (closer to home) to have the compressor replaced.  Scott's quote was better than the total ended up being with the other shop.  If I hadn't needed the car right away, and they were closer to home, I definitely would have had Scott do the work for me.
Side note:  A couple of years ago, I had a 1994 Nissan Sentra that kept blowing alternators and killing batteries.  I took it to Scott and he spent almost an hour checking it out and found that the wiring harness at the alternator was too hot to touch.  He didn't have the harness to fix it, so I asked what I owed him and he didn't charge me for the time!  I found a new-old-stock harness on eBay and sure enough, no more problems!
