They did a fine job. Wait was not too bad. Since I bought the car there, the oil changes are free, which is nice.

I have had just one service encounter with them and it was good. I bought a car through them and I have always been treated very well there. Sometimes the managers get a little saucy. When they are dealing with a sales person and they take an offer back they are not very courteous.

They lose track of time. I know that they will have the parts. They have several mechanics. However, you don’t talk to the mechanics. You talk with the service guy and so sometimes the communication is not proper. They are expensive. They are very polite and professional.

They're really big on customer service, they make sure you're pleased and give you a call back. They are really good and efficient. They will do the job right the first time. If it is something you are going to have to pay for they are a little pricey.

My daughter now has that car and has moved to Las Vegas, but she was taking it there right until the time she moved. They always took care of everything and were really outstanding. I would go back if I had a car.

I have never had any problem with the car other than engine light coming on. It was for small things like moisture and a gas cap not being tight. Under my extended warranty it has always been paid for.

Overall it went terrible. First I called the Auto mall number and asked for the Miata service number. They transferred me. I made an appointment for next week for the 60,000 mile maintenance. When we got to the Auto Mall that day, they did not have the appointment scheduled. It turned out that the operator had transferred me to the eastside Miata service department, which I specifically did not want. Then they handed us a plasticized printout of all the services they offered for a 60,000 mile service. We did not need or want half of them, and at first they told me that there was no choice. There was no way to change the form. I had to chose all of them. Then my husband arrived to take me home. Our service representative took our order verbally for the services we wanted, noting the ones we did not want. When we came in later that afternoon to pick up our car, we had a bill for $1800. They had performed all the services on their plasticized list for a 60,000 mile checkup. (One of these was an engine clean up, something we really did not want.) Something they had told us specifically they would not do. And our service representative had gone home for the day. And they would not release our car to us until we paid the full price. So I complained and complained to no avail. My husband was going out of town the next day, so I really needed to pick up the Miata that day. I paid the full $1800, promising to call them the next day. The next day I finally got through to a supervisor, who lowered our total cost to $1000 when I threatened to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I wouldn't take my Miata to Jim Click for service if they were the last car service company on earth. These folks ought to be in jail!
