The job was bid and completed within about a 1 week - here is the time frame. 1. The roofing job was bid by Jim Viberg, the company president.. 2. Several days later, a crew of 5 was on-site removing and stacking tile and removing the underlayment. Next came a crew of 3 or 4 and installed new CDX where required and started installing a self adhering fiberglass underlayment, new batts and the roof tiles. 3. The final clean-up included going over the yard with a huge magnet to pick up any nails. We had rain a couple of weeks ago.................NO LEAKS. You can depend on this company and the price quoted was what we paid.

They were very nice to deal with, thorough in their inspection, and suggested a very good corrective solution.

They did a good job for us. I recommended them to a neighbor in fact. They had a little accident, it was just one of those things. They were removing a sky light and you know how you have the claw hammer, the worker was pulling a nail out to remove it and he dropped the hammer. It fell and broke a toilet right below it. They were right on it, they got us a new toilet and replaced it the next day.

They were prompt, they were conscientious. We were very pleased with them. Anybody can have an accident. It was just a freak thing that happened but they took full responsibility.

After removing shingles, they explained about the flashing and other areas around the chimney, etc that weren't done right causing the leaks.

The workmen were on time, kept me informed of what they were doing and finished on time.  Polite and professional.  They sent a guarantee for work done and a thank you note....couldn't have been more surprised by the note.

We've had an excessive amount of rain since the repair and I've had NO leaks.  Yeah!

They were very nice, and were very honest. They didn't sell us on an unnecessary roof replacement, and they were very pleasant to work with.

This process was quick.  The day I called, someone came out to look at the roof and the very next day I had a qoute.  I was able to scedheule the repair quickly.  The whole process took me less than a week.  Being a property owner, this really helps when keeping the tenant happy.  Thank you!

JEV Roofing Co Inc. cut me a good deal. His prices are reasonable. I've used them before for another job. Here in Arizona, it's hot and we also get monsoon season with a bunch of rain. We also have a flat roof, so they put a special seal on the roof so that the rain doesn't get in and it reflects the sun so you don't get all that heat. It also protects the roof from cracking and peeling. It's called a cool coating roof. You have to re-do it every few years. But it does protect your roof longer, so you don't have to get a new roof. I've been using them to do the cool coating since probably in the 1990's. I've also used them for repairing my skylight. But this time I got a whole re-roofing, and I wanted to include an estimate from them when I was getting bids because they've been taking such good care of my roof, which is way I think he gave me the best estimate than other companies I got an estimate from. He's excellent. They do a good job and clean up after themselves. They schedule it and show up when they say they're going to and they're gone when they say they're going to. They carted away all the debris from my old roof. There was nothing left for me to do. 

After the storm and an insurance assessment and payout (to me), I requested and received four estimates for repair. The roof areas on the second story were damaged badly, had allowed water leakage into the house and through the ceiling (first time in 13 years). Both areas had been tarped the day after the storm, but that is not enough.
Of the four estimates, the one from JEV Roofing was in the middle for price, but a comparison of services on the four proposals did not show any differences, so I chose JEV.
The crew was friendly, but they got right down to work, barely took a lunch break, and they finished the job in about 9 hours, or one day. They cleaned the site of debris when they were done. All of them were responsive to my questions and requests, really a great bunch of working gentlemen.
The dollar cost for the repair was almost exactly the same in the proposal and the final price. JEV also honored the discount coupon I printed out from Angie's List.

J.E.V. Roofing workers arrived on time. They were very courteous and installed the new roof- cleaned up- removed all roofing debris in one day. I was very pleased with the quality of work. The new roof looks great. I would recommend J.E.V Roofing to any one wanting a good roofing company at a reasonable price.

I have never experienced this.  I called based on your list with the good reviews to get an estimate.  They came without my knowledge and called to give me a procedure that they required a third deposit in the mail, then they will call me to schedule.  I submitted a check for 70.00 and waited and waited for them to call me.  I even called to remind them that my check was mailed and was waiting to find out when they'll be coming.  They said they would call me.
I was out of town for a week and received an invoice on Sat, Nov. 23rd that I owed them $127.54 for the work that was done on the 21st.  I was stunned as I never got any acknowledgment that someone was coming.  I called this am, and reported that how do I know if the work was really done, their response was look at the roof.  I specified that no one called and Jim, said someone did called me to report that they were on the way but there was no answer so they came.  This is really unheard of!    I asked if they can come over to show me what they did..

It went very well. The team came in and got to work and found two vents had sometime in the past, been covered over. They correctly uncovered them and put new vent fans, ect. That detail was very welcome as it helped disperse some of the horrible heat.  They replaced all the boards around the edge of the roof and cut back some support beams that had some rot in them. They raised the front of the roof and improved the look of the whole house with that. They did all this incredible work in 2 days! We are completely satisfied with their work. If we had to do it again, we'd use JEV Roofing.

Jim came out and gave us a written estimate.  We agreed upon the price and the men came out and fixed the roof.  Jim and his crew were all very professional and we are very satisfied with the work they did on the roof.
I would also like to mention that while Jim was here he also inspected the entire roof.  He told us the roof on the house was in good shape he just needed to fix the leaks on the patio.  We had previously  received an estimate from another company and they wanted to charge us over $8,000.00 for a full roof repair which they said we needed.

I called JEV Roofing and explained my problem.  I had a 6 foot area of missing shingles and the flashing underneath was torn.  I was told someone would be out that day or the next to look at the problem and take photos for the estimate.  A few hours later, Memo showed up.  He went up and took pictures and sent them to his boss, explaining that I had the shingles already, and the job wouldn't take more than an hour.  Memo told me it would cost $75. and take about an hour.  I said great please do it.  Memo was very professional, pleasant and a hard worker.  I am very happy with the fast response, considering I was told the average wait time to fix the roof would be almost two weeks, due to so many requests for repairs.  I will definately call JEV Roofing again for any roofing needs.   Excellent response and work.

Jim from JEV Roofing was extremely professional and he and his staff were timely, courteous and did a wonderful job of cleaning up.  I had received multiple quotes for replacement of my roof and, although Jim wasn't the least expensive, his quote was the most thorough and covered absolutely everything that needed to be done.  Jim was the only provider out of all the quotes who indicated they really needed to remove my roof-top air conditioner to ensure quality replacement of the roof.  I appreciated this and it was confirmed by my air conditioner provider. 
Jim personally inspected the roofing job throughout the 2-day project.  His team was punctual, courteous, hard-working and did a wonderful job of clean-up (which can be difficult when replacing an entire roof!).  The warranty provided for the roofing job was excellent and within expectations.
I would highly recommend JEV Roofing and would definitely use them in the future.

Estimate completed in a very timely manner, Office staff were friendly, knowledgeble. Field staff were polite, competent and open to questions. They left no trash , cleaned up everything very well. Jim's staff have been with him for many yrs which I think always says a lot about a company. Work was completed in less than 3 days. Great job!

Estimator was very thorough. Crew was on time. Repairs were done quickly. No follow-up. But have had no issues since the repair.

I called for an estimate. The estimator came when he said he would and worked efficiently  they sent the estimate with options in the mail and when we sent it back with our selected option an a check there was a moderate delay before they set a date and came out and did the work. they came when they said they would and completed the job quickly. they cleaned up after and did not leave a mess. the leaking has stopped.

They said it was going to be 3 days to do the job and they finished the job in 3 days. They arrived promptly when they said they would. The supervisor was very responsive to my questions and I felt very comfortable working with them. He even took pictures of the bad spots in my roof with his camera and left them in my door the next day so that I could see what was really needed. They cleaned everything up. They also gave a 3-year warranty of their workmanship.

I used them, and they did a wonderful job.  They were very timely  in coming here to provide a quote. Their response was good, and I set up the appointment. I was very satisfied in their work, and the price is reasonable. These guys are professionals; they work for about an hour or so and they took care of what they needed to, but I have yet to prove it because there is no storm yet.

They were quick to come and give an estimate.  The estimate was emailed to me, so it was nice to have a contract that I could look at.  I had several questions about the contract, and the office was very quick at answering them.  At one time they got a wrong skylight cover, so they were going to come back and put it in the next day when he exchanged it.  He said it is still a little bit wet on the roof, so he didn’t pluck on the roof to put it in, but came back another time, which I would have never known.  I appreciate he did that extra trip which he should have and which he did.  The only negative was, I never had a phone call after he done that, and I didn’t know he did it, so I had to call and ask if it was done.  It would have been nice to have a call that said everything is finished and was I happy with it.  I would use them again.  I didn’t do a lot of shopping around, but for the little bit that I did I think the price was fine.
