The time between the initial contact, appraisal and then the report was a lot shorter than I expected. I would recommend Gold Medal Appraisals and I would use their services again in the future. There have been many businesses that I have had to deal with being the executor of my mother's estate, most of them have been disappointing even downright incompetent. So having Tim and Gold Medal Appraisals exceed my expectations was a wonderful experience.

Tim came by when he said he would, was friendly and professional through, and answered all our questions. He took a few days to review comparable properties and talk to some realtors who had sold them, and then sent us a thorough professional appraisal report with all supporting documents included. We were very happy with his work, and would highly recommend.

Gold Medal provided prompt service throughout the process. From my initial contact to setting up the appointment to creating the final report, the service was seamless. The final report was very professional, with good photos, a very good analysis, and a very accurate value for the property.

The appointment was easy to schedule over email.  Tim arrived a few minutes before the appointment time.  He was very professional and made sure to take the time to answer any questions we had.  He turned his report around in 48 hours as promised and responded right away to the couple questions we had.

Gary was very professional.  He scheduled our appraisal within just a few days of our initial request.  He did a thorough review of our property inside and out, and provided us with a detailed and professional appraisal report within less than a week, containing full color photos and as much detail as possible on our property and all comparables selected.  He answered all of our questions and was extremely helpful, and is a very nice and polite person.  We would highly recommend Gary and Gold Medal Appraisals!

We appreciated that given short notice , he was able to make an appointment to meet us at the house within that same week. He arrived on time, was very personable and efficiently completed the home appraisal. He emailed us a detailed appraisal report, with several comps, in a very short time. He also offered a discount for having used Angies List. :)

I am looking to refinance my house and was curious about a few things. Even though I will be required to use an appraisal ordered through my bank, I called Gold Medal Appraisals (Tim ) to see if it would make any sense to have a and quot;pre-appraisal / appraisaland quot; I didn't want to spend the money through the bank and find out that things weren't right. So why not go through a private company first. He told me that it would be best just to go through the bank, and not spend my money twice. He also took the time to answer some questions about things I thought may affect the appraisal such as a recent leaky roof and new founded drywall repair,thanks to this winters snow fall, and how to address those issues.He took the time to answer my questions just from a random phone call,professionally,politely and until all my questions had been addressed,even knowing that he wouldn't be able to perform the appraisal.

I needed to have my late mother's home appraised. Tim responded quickly and the appraisal was arranged within a few days. He was on time and worked around my schedule. Tim provided the final written report within a week. Could not have asked for better service.

Tim was very pleasant to deal with; he answered all questions and delivered report on time as stated. He spent about 30 minutes inside and outside of the home. The report was very detailed and included pictures of the property. He gave us a discount for finding him on Angie's List!

Tim was able to get us scheduled quickly and was very punctual for our appointment. He was quick but thorough in gathering information and measurements and taking photos for his review. Two days later, he sent us a very detailed, well-researched appraisal report.

Tim was a little early for our noon appointment. He was well prepared with quite a bit of background information and records about the property. He measured the outside of the house and examined the inside, taking pictures as he went. He was on the property for about 45 minutes or so. Within two days, I had Tim's report in my email. The report was thorough and well done.
The overall experience was pleasant and professional. Not a service I expect to need often, but would gladly use Gold Medal again if I need another appraisal.

Everything went fine. Tim Holliday arrived at scheduled time. He took the necessary time to take approximate measurements of each room. Also took pictures of the house and lot. A detailed written appraisal was received in less than one week from time of initial appointment. Tim was pleasant and professional. I would recommend and use again.

It went quite well. Tim was able to come to the house a couple of days after I called (though it did take a couple of calls before they responded). He was very personable, and took time to walk me through the whole process beforehand (this was my first appraisal). Went through and efficiently made his assessment, and then provided me with a detailed appraisal report within a couple of days. The process was much less painful than I thought it would be. As a bonus, he was able to refer me to a pretty good realtor. Am in the process of selling my home; when I'm ready to buy, if I need another appraisal, I'd use him again.

Was quick to reply to my emails. He was on site only about a half hour. The visit was shorter than I expected but I don't know if the length of time was standard for the service. I was very happy with the written appraisal which was sent to me in just a few days.
