I had my service call within a couple of days on a Sunday. Liam was on time, listened to my issues and addressed them professionally. He managed to clean my laptop up and gave me a good quantity of storage. He performed updates and when I still had a sluggish start up he returned my call to reassure me it was probably still processing the update. He was correct and I like my laptop again.

HORRIBLE!!! **BUYER BEWARE*** Most of us when we venture into service based establishments, we go on a recommendation of a friend who has had a good experience, so it gives me great pain to write this. I purchased a refurbished laptop from them and according to them they had just put a new Hard drive in it. Paid $335 for this product. Three weeks in, the battery stopped working and I had to call them to replace it, which they did. Shortly after, I had to call them again because I realized that they never did put the screws in that hold the hard drive in place, nor the screws that hold the back on and how I found that out was because the computer got a black screen and that happened because the HDD glided out. Then, the programs were giving issues and they blamed that on me and told me to reinstall after they left on that visit. By the next visit, I had a blue screen and I had to pay $79 to get that fixed. The next visit I had another blue screen with another $79 charge with same exact StopCode on the laptop. So now my $335 laptop has now cost me $494.00 The last visit on for it was October 2019. Come into January 2020 and I get yet another blue screen but this time the computer is not responding. I contacted Randy, who was the person who always came to fix my PC and he informed me I'd have to pay again and I said ABSOLUTELY NOT! I called their office and spoke to the owner with whom I explained everything i just wrote in the above statement. She said she could have someone to my house, I said I would bring it. Her exact words" if you bring it to me tomorrow (Monday) I will take a look. I will fix it and if it is I something I cannot fix, I will get you another refurbished one, no problem I will take care of it." I dropped off the laptop and I never heard anything so I call them later in the evening. Spoke to their tech because she wasn't in and he then said I would have to pay to get it fixed and I said absolutely NOT. Have her call me. NEVER heard from her. I called again (Tuesday) spoke to another person, because suddenly the owner was NOT available, who told me I had to pay for it. Again, I told her what the owener said and told her to have her call me...AGAIN NEVER HEARD FROM THE OWNER. I called AGAIN, what I got was that they could transfer my stuff for free but i would have to pay for the part? Wait what? Your laptop, your NEW HDD and I have to pay for it AGAIN when I already did?! My wife went to pick up the computer and they didn't even ask her who she was but just handed the laptop to her and told her that if I wanted it fixed I could pay $199. Are you kidding me?! Not only was that obnoxious after I already told them what the owner said, I NEVER ONCE HEARD FROM HER SINCE THAT DAY. They also told my wife that the laptop was in working order when she left and when I turned it on at home it was in the EXACT same condition it was in when I first called them. SO THEY LIED!!! Twice in one day. Bearing in mind they had said earlier they called me when indeed it was I who called them not only once, but twice. So in essence they want me to pay another $119 ($79 x 2) to repair the SAME issue..making it $494 and now wanting $199 making it $694 for a refurbished computer that was giving me issues from the start and which I had already paid them to repair twice. Again, I am yet to hear from the owner again. It is simply unacceptable for me to have to incur additional cost for something that I have already paid for, not to mention pay $199 for a hard drive that that can be purchased for $40, even less to them, as they are afforded discounts as shops. This was a simple fix which has now and will become your problem for some time to come. It is the small details that makes customers happy. When customers are happy they refer other people who become your customers. When they are unhappy two things are possible, they go away and you never hear from them again or well you know the rest ??

A techie inadvertently permanently deleted all of the files on my desktop while performing a routine cleanup. Teresa told me that they could be recovered and would be covered under their 7 day guarantee. Once it became apparent that they could not recover them, they blamed it on a Windows desktop update that occurred AFTER the files went missing and demanded additional money to try to recover the files in their shop. I would never do business with them again!

Came within a couple of days to my house of first call.  Fixed the computer in short order and since they hadn't used up the entire hour covered by the fee also recovered some files from an old computer.  Have used this company before and continue to be pleased with their work.  Would highly recommend them.

Charlie was the tech who came to evaluate and fix a couple of problems we were having with our home WiFi network - inconsistent access, trouble with one of our desktop computers connecting with the wireless printer.  He was able to do this in short order by getting into our router's settings and reconfiguring them.  There was time left over (the $49 charge is the minimum for an hour of service) for him to take care of a couple of other minor-irritant problems: files I had trouble accessing in some contexts but not others, sluggish performance, etc.  He downloaded a free cleaner program he likes and showed me how it works and how to use it myself from time to time when the system inevitably slows down with accumulated junk (temporary files, registry errors, etc.)  So I was very pleased with this service.

However, shortly after this we started noticing a new and different problem: our Apple iOS devices (3 iPhones and an iPad) couldn't connect with our WiFi, or at least couldn't stay connected.  Because the problem was intermittent and we aren't dependent on these devices for Internet access at home, we put up with it for a while, but finally called Geeks2You about it.  They sent a (different) tech out right away, who was initially puzzled, but then discovered the problem (I had inadvertently set up two networks with the same name on our 2-band router years ago; it had never before been a problem with the Apple devices, but whatever Charlie fixed at the first visit apparently made the two same-named networks confusing for those devices, but not our Windows computers).  He just renamed one of the networks and the problem disappeared.  And they did not charge us for this second visit.

I was very pleased with the responsiveness of Geeks2You.  They are able to send techs out in the evening, which could be very convenient for a lot of customers.  The guys were very professional and obviously know what they are doing, and very generous with providing even more service than initially requested.  They followed up promptly and at no charge with the unexpected problem that surfaced after the initial service.  The $49 hourly fee is a great bargain, in my opinion.

had a Toshiba not book that failed to boot up. After checking into Office Max and Renaissance computer repair they all wanted $199
to wipe the system clean and back up. No effort at diagnostics. That seems lazy to me.
Found Geek 2 You on Angies. they had two previous positive ratings. I would now like to be the 3rd.
My original call was dealt with professionally and timely. within 2 days I had a service Tech, Lucas, arrived right on time
Outstanding can not save enough good things. They charge an hourly rate that was very competitive and for our $$ we not only got our problems resolved ( as much as Microsoft ) will let you, but Lucas was patient and very communicative
sat with my wife and Myself as we also looked to figure out some additional Windows 8 issues we were having.
was out the door in about 2 hours.
don't waste your time on the Big Chains call Geek 2 You.
