Mike did a fantastic job with building and installing a rusty metal garage door. He was meticulous in making sure the door was installed properly worked as it should. If I had another garage he is the only guy I would hire to install it. It looks and works awesome!

Having used this service before (three years ago) to replace a broken
garage door spring I found that not only was my request handled promptly, but that
the price was greatly more reasonable than other estimates for the same
procedure. I called Mike about my garage door not operating properly
after using coupon from another company for what I thought was a
reasonable offer for check-up service. It turns out that the door was
not operating properly after this service and that I would have to be
charged for a service call to look at it. I called Mike and he came
out the same day and told me that the price I paid was actually twice
what he would have charged. Bottom line: the problem was intermitant
and I should wait to see if it recurs and he would come back and fix it for a reasonable fee.
I was not charged for this service call.
He is both knowledgeable and his charges are perhaps much less than offered by many other door outfits here.

Mike came to check out the door, gave me a bid, and an appointment for installation was made. Mike was on time and started immediately. The whole job was finished within 90 minutes. The new door looks great and works fine. My garage was left clean as Mike took away all old door parts. I would definitely use Mike again for any garage door issues in the future.

The whole experience went very well. Mike was prompt, explained the pros and cons of both a chain and belt driven garage door opener, and efficiently installed the opener within two hours. I believe the price was fair.

Michael Van Winsen was called in to view the work needed by another company who could not repair the door opener. I received an estimate, agreed to the price,and the work was scheduled for the next day. It was a Saturday and I greatly appreciated that the work was started and completed early. I felt the price was fair; the guarantee good, and the worksite was cleaned up...all pluses for me. Mr. Van Winsen was professional and courteous and provided a good consumer education on the benefits of the garage door opener I chose.
