Expert came up with a plan that involved little disturbance in the house.

They're friendly, knowledgeable, very professional and willing to give advise if you want it. It's not like they are trying to sell you a product they just give good suggestions.  

For example, I thought perhaps I needed to change out my kitchen sink he said it's a really good sink and in great condition. he didn't try to sell me or change out something. He was honest and gave me a plumbers advise on it.

I wanted information on having my whole house re piped. It wasn't a formal estimate but to give me more of an idea.

Had a sort of emergency: badly leaking valve to refrigerator line required me to shut off all water at the service valve.  Luke from Expert said he would come right out, which he did.  He replaced the valve, then I asked him if he could replace hose bibs and service valve while he was here, which he also did.  All handled professionally.  I had used Expert once or twice before, several years ago, and was happy with the result -- I recall that someone came out very quickly then too.  The $243 charge included $162 for labor -- 1 3/4 hours at $94/hour, which is not cheap but I think is in line with other plumbers. The 1 3/4 hours was about as quickly as the work could possibly be done and done well.  I highly recommend this plumber. 

Dealing with the vanities turned out to be a complicated job due to the age of the old vanities and the new ones being a different size.  He did an absolutely excellent job.  It took 11:30 hours, he never took a break until it was all finished and it looks really great.  We are beyond pleased.  We have dealt with this company for over 30 years and they continue to amaze us.  Would not dream of hiring anyone else for any plumbing work needed.  Highly recommended!

I had a plumber out before Expert Plumbing came out who tried to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need and told me my problem was outside the house instead of inside. My sister asked her friend she worked with if they knew any plumbers in Tucson that were good and they gave her their name.  I also found them on Angie's list and decided to call them. Expert plumbing came out and snaked my line and found my problem was inside my home's foundation. They were straight forward and honest. They didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need from the beginning. They are very hard working and I would definitely recommend them to people. When I had a family member who was ill and in the hospital they also were understanding and let me reschedule when I could. I appreciate all their hard work. 

I had Expert come in to give me a second opinion.  They used a device to find the exact spot of the defect in the sewer pipe. They used a subcontractor to dig the hole with a back hoe.  He was very careful and professional.  The plumber (Dave) found the problem and repaired it.
The original plumber was going to excavate in the wrong place and wanted to charge 40% more.

About 3 hours of work.  Dave did a real nice job.  It was impressive when I noted him wiping up the bottom of cabinet after he finished the disposal.  Alsdo, gave good suggestions about on-going maintenance.

We recently moved into a house and the shutoff valves on the washing machine leaked and others under the sinks would not shut freely. Called and made an appointment. On the day of the appointment we got a call advising when the plumber would arrive. He was on time and got right to work. He attempted to free up all the shutoff valves. Several needed to be replaced, which he did. He worked efficiently and cleaned up as he went along.
Very satisfied with the service provided.
Due to one of the other reviews on this site, I was aware of the charge for travel time. The cost was explained on the first call when I made the appointment.

We hadn't expected this issue when we had our new range delivered, but it wouldn't go all the way in to the wall because the pipe hit the back of it. There was a small area on the back where the gas pipe would need to fit in order to sit flush against the wall. Dan came the same day that I called, at the end of the day, to take a look. He thought it might be around $200, but he expected to be moving the actual line inside the wall. When he arrived, he said it was an easier job than he expected, and he could do it right away. He completed it very quickly, tested the gas line for leaks, and charged us for a one hour job, the minimum. Great experience, very professional and knowledgable, and we will call him again.

We have used this company since 1984 for all our plumbing needs.  As usual, they did a great job.  They came out and cleaned all of our water lines and fixtures of the plastic beads and restored water flow in about 3 hours.  This was quite fast since it was really badly plugged up.

I have used them twice. They are great. I will use them again.

We have used this company for several years because the backflow has to be inspected yearly and a report forwarded to the City.  We called last week and he came yesterday.  There have been problems with other companies in the past, when they waited until the last minute to complete the inspection and one year it resulted in a problem and a threatened fine from the City because the report was not submitted on time.  With this company there is no worry.  The report is submitted with time to spare.  We will have them back in the spring to replace the water pipe to the swimming pool.

They are doing my plumbing work for thirty years. The owners name is Dan. They give a senior citizen discount which I take it by nature. The company is licensed, bonded, insured and takes Master cards and Visa. They are on call 24hours. I would be calling them shortly for putting a new faucet. The workers who come out to do the work are great. They are prompt and come when they say they are going to be here. They do a great job and I am really happy with their work. They are very professional.

Having used Expert Plumbing earlier in the year to repair a leak, I lost the connection to a section of pipe that served my evap cooler.  That should have been my first red flag.  When I enlisted Expert Plumbing to redo this length of pipe, they attached the pipe to the outside of my existing yard wall, a foot up from the ground.  I could see right away that they had done a very poor job, and called the owner, asking him to come out to inspect.  He only put me back in touch with the plumber who had done the sub-standard work, and he was unwilling to do anything but adjust the price some (not enough).  Because the faucet connection failed almost immediately, and the pipe broke in numerous places during the freeze, I had to have the full repair redone (with another plumber who I would recommend, and who buried the pipe underground.)  I learned that the copper pipe used was the type used for inside work only (very thin), and should never have been used for outside plumbing, especially above ground.  The pipe was also a type that is not meant to bend around curves, as they tried unsuccessfully to do (and these connections snapped).  Connection seals were shoddily done (crimped rather than soldered, etc.)  Even the connections holding the pipe to my adobe wall failed.   

I had used Expert Plumbing for 15 years, and only had a bad experience with this one plumber.  I don't know if he is still there or not.  What I was really disappointed in was the lack of oversight - that the owner would not come out to inspect himself once a complaint was made.  I think that he would have been very surprised.

I called Expert Plumbing on March 17th and received a call back from Dave within an hour to discuss the problem with my Backflow that was leaking badly due to "freeze" damage.  He put me on hold while he checked on a part and then scheduled his services for the very next day.  He was at my home exactly at the scheduled time, replaced the backflow and connective pipes and instructed me on use.  It is working great!

Good job, they do good work but are not cheap in the prices they charge.

I gave Expert Plumbing an A rating because we have tried many plumbers who were not as professional, reasonable or as high quality as Expert Plumbing. They have been particularly helpful by explaining about our various plumbing fixtures and the pros and cons of potential changes. They also explain what they do especially when there are issues or choices. The work went smoothly and they cleaned up after themselves. We have used Expert Plumbing for several jobs and will use them again in the future.

They did fine. Their estimate was accurate. They were very reasonably priced. I used them on two occasions. One guy was below average, but the second time was excellent.
