EVEREST DUCT AND HVAC CLEANING

Everest duct cleaning was highly recommended to us by our certified mold tester. I reached out and the first time I called someone answered! It happened to be George who is the owner of the company and a very pleasant person to interact with. He thoroughly and conscientiously answered all my questions, and when we realize we could not schedule him in the timeframe I needed he offered to notify me in case a cancellation came up. It was our luck that a cancellation did come up that fit our schedule and we rapidly got them over to the house All the interactions I had with the team on the ground were very equally positive. They were very courteous, conscientious, helpful, and informative. Bottom line I feel these people were really committed to taking care of their customer are able to handle complex jobs and accommodate special requests (like effective natural products as an alternative if you don’t want the harsher chemicals), and absolutely know their business. They are nationally certified indoor air quality experts in the duct cleaning space so that’s awesome as well. Go with these people you will not regret it!!

George, the owner, is a real professional. He knows his business, and he truly cares about the quality of the job he does. He has professional duct cleaning equipment (I never knew that there were such machines), and he and his long-term assistant go about their tasks in a manner that causes the least disturbance to your household routine. I quality of his end product--very clean ducts, furnace air boxes, and clothes dryer vents--is truly remarkable. I could not be more pleased with the service I got from Everest. And to top it all off, there was a 5% Angie's List discount.

I would highly recommend George and Everest Duct for cleaning the air ducts.  He sealed off all the vents and fogged the vents with an organic product called Benefact.  He also cleaned the units themselves.   Great experience through and through. 

I called Mr. George Sakellarakis because I began to worry about my dryer vent being clogged. I had smelled smoke-like odors coming from the dryer in the past few months, even though I had it cleaned professionally twice since the end of July. In fact, debris in the dryer near the heating element had begun to smoke and was charred when extracted.
Sound bad? Yes, I was worried. Just this past weekend an apartment in town caught fire because of a dryer vent problem.
So I called Everest Duct & HVAC Cleaning. Mr. Sakellarakis explained their process to remove lint and debris from the dryer vent. The vent ran from behind the dryer in the garage up to the roof above the front foyer. I made an appointment for the following Monday.
Mr. Sakellarakis and his assistant, Jesus, arrived at the appointed time, assessed the situation, and began to work. These two were congenial, easy to talk to, and they had smiles on their faces.
They removed the vent pipe from the dryer and pulled the dryer back from the wall. They hooked a vacuum suction to the vent and then went to the roof to use a pressure hose to move the accumulated material out.
After about an hour, the team was finished. This dryer vent was stuffed with over a decade?s worth of lint, clothing debris, and more. I mean, it was Stuffed all the way through. Such a situation is very dangerous. If my dryer had been fueled by gas instead of electricity, I?m sure a fire would have broken out somewhere back in time. The truth is that I was living on the edge of danger.
Everest Air did a great job, but beyond that, I feel they did a lifesaving service for me. The price was reasonable and worth every bit. This issue has been at the back of my mind for a while, causing worry and some fear, and for good reason. Now I am sleeping well, at least on this concern.

They arrived and gave me the cost up front, they base it on the number of registers in the house. Then they vacuumed out all the ducts with a huge vacuum. They also cleaned the air conditioning unit and told me that it was in good shape and ready to use for summer. I had been concerned because we were tearing out flooring and there was a lot of dust, I didn't want to dirty up the clean ducts. They told me what to do and taped up the intake registers after they were done so the dust wouldn't get in. They also cleaned all the registers.

Even though they weren't the cheapest, we went with them because everyone is so nice and polite. They over charged us $35 and stained one of our carpets, but their staff are the nicest people I have ever had in my home. They did offer to clean out the stain, but we were scheduled to have them cleaned the next day.

The owner returned my call very rapidly. He had to cancel our initial appointment because he hurt his ankle and had to go to the emergency. He arrived with his assistant at time determined for the second appointment. He was extremely polite, so was his assistant. They were careful not to damage the floor but there were some stains left on the carpet in the staircase from the wheels of the equipment used for the duct cleaning. He also wanted to charge more for one of the vent, but my husband wouldn't accept the change so we paid the amount that was agreed upon on the phone when we made the appointment.

THE MEN FROM EVEREST DUCT CLEANING WERE ALL NICE GENTLEMEN. THEY DIDN'T BOTHER ME AT ALL AND WERE DONE BEFORE I EXPECTED. I WILL SURE REMEMBER THOSE SAME BOYS NEXT TIME I NEED MY AIR DUCTS CLEANED.
